Easy. Works on carpet and floor. Minor inconvenience is that it ccasionally gets stuck on footings that are slightly cone shaped.

We really like this machine. This is our third Roomba and it gets stuck much less. We have three dogs and it avoids their toys. The only issue we have had is the mop getting stuck under an area carpet. Happens seldom but has happened a couple times. The mop function works quite well. We have hard surface floors throughout our home and they stay much cleaner. No need for soap just add water. We haven’t had a run in with pet accidents yet but I expect it will avoid them like the toys.

The mapping is much better than my older generation one, was planning to get this so can replace my 980 and m6; however, the tank is really too small for my house, I asked irobot they said is rated for 1,000 sq ft, but I will say better skip and wait for future model if you have area more than 600 sq ft, even with the eco setting sometimes still need to refill the tank. The mop design is quite cool and get the job done for dirty area, but it just not going to work for my house and have to return it

It is an excellent product. I love every time I clean my house. It was an excellent option to buy.

My son bought me this J7+ Combo for Christmas. Paid $1000. Started have issues about 8 months in with mop not deploying having to reset robot. Now the mop has completely falling off the unit. Followed all directions and kept up with maintenance which is additional money for filters... Mopping pads .. brushes .. roller arms. Called customer service and like previous review offered me only $100 to buy another unit through them. Also wanted me to pay $150 for repair before they would even send a box for return. Even if repaired it would still break in the same amount of time because the &mop pad under further investigation is held by 2 tiny plastic pieces that fell out the unit when I flipped it over. How long does Roomba expect this to drag across the floor before breaking! I am livid that this is the service you get for $1000. Will never purchase from this company again. No matter how bad you want it this is a warning. Donot Buy! You will be throwing your money away. What a disappointment.

It's broken a few times on us. Customer service was great. Help us get it fixed everytime, however something so expensive shouldnt be breaking 3 times in a year.

I looked at mini vacuum cleaners in the market and this one serves the purpose very well since as it did both vacuum and mopping

It’s a solid product and does the job it’s advertised to do. The mapping system automatically labeled my rooms in the correct way. I was impressed

Still not a believer. 2nd Roomba we've owned and this one isn't much better than the original. Continues to go in areas that are mapped out as don't enter zones and doesn't seem to sync up well to the app. Does do a pretty good job when it actually does work and vacuums and mops. Disappointed it the overall performance of it.

Excellent upgrade with the mop function although the water tank is a little small

Very pleased, upgrade from older model. Quiet, quicker, more powerful and better battery life. Would recommend.

My wife loves this thing. It was easy to set up and add to your phone. The app let's you know exactly which room it's cleaning and keeps you updated as to what it's doing, and it is not as noisy as one may think, in fact much quieter than a normal upright vacuum. The water reservoir for mopping is rather small, and needs to be refilled before the job is complete, but other than that the Roomba is awesome.

We’ve named the J7+, Alexis so I will refer to the J7+ as Alexis. Alexis is awesome but sometimes misses a spot and that might be because of the mapping but I’m unsure. Alexis travels a little higher than what I would expect and it might just need to be returned or warrantied but I’m waiting on iRobot to reply to my email. I would recommend this product for anyone wanting to automate their daily cleaning.

Not really good at avoiding obstacles, we need to clear the of chairs or other objects before starting it. Otherwise it can get stuck. I has gotten stuck 3 times in the restroom, and has lost connectivity a couple of times. Other than that it's been a month without having to vacuum manually and it's overall worth it.

I was a bit skeptical about spending so much money on this robot vacuum. But once I got it up and running, I knew I had made a good choice. The bonus for me was the mopping feature. This feature worked better than I imagined. I have tiled floors and rugs in certain rooms. The Roomba knew the difference and only mops the tile floor areas. Long term, I see myself buying more solution and mop pads and that will determine my true satisfaction with the Roomba.

Good for a year or little bit more, but then becomes stupid and stuck where it didn’t before.

Helps keeping up with dog hair/fur. Have a Husky and Lab
