    A real disappointment, I am using two other J5 Create adapters and they installed with ease and are working fine, but I couldn't install this adapter after multiple readings of the instructions,and multiple attempts to install.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    I recently purchased a fairly high end laptop that only had USB Type C video. This port + HDMI adapter turned my home monitor and USB keyboard mouse into a fully functional desktop setup without the high price of a dock

    Only down side that it's not compatible with other display drivers (ie displayLink). Otherwise, it works like a charm. I have two j5 Create adapters and they have been working without a hiccup for over two years - one is a VGA and the other is the 3-port USB hub.

    So I buy this product from the Best Buy next to me. Need it badly to do work, try to installed it kept saying issues with installation file ticket, ticket is 10 minutes to fill: I am buying an adaptor it's not rocket science people. Waisted over an hour of my time trying to connect with product support: end up taking it back and buying a 10 $ better product
