Not Quite There..

You can purchase it separate from the dock if you don’t need it. However this dual HDMI setup doesn’t work with Macs if you want extended screens. It only supports mirroring on macs, which can be pointless for some people. It’s not supported due to the hardware. And even on windows, the display resolution is significantly decreased when extending the monitors.

Posted .The host device must support Multi-Stream Transport (MST) and DisplayPort 1.2 to achieve dual-monitor configuration. The MST protocol is not currently supported by macOS. *macOS only supports SST, which means all connected monitors will show the same content. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance. Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every accessory I've plugged into it (keyboard, webcam, monitor, ethernet) ends up having connectivity issues but they all work fine when plugged directly into my laptop. I wanted to return it, but BestBuy only gives you 14 days so it's too late. I'll have to try to convince my supervisor to let me purchase something else despite being unable to get a refund.
