Customers highly value the additional USB ports, ease of use, and compact size of the USB 3.0 4-Port Mini Hub. Many appreciate its ability to provide sufficient power and its compatibility with various devices. However, some users find the cable length to be too short and have experienced issues with charging multiple devices simultaneously. A few also noted that the hub can get warm during use.

Compact and great USB hub for anyone needing additional ports. External power ensures no loss of connections. Transferring data between multiple sources now a snap. Mounted next to my computer with nylon straps to keep unit from sliding around.

Excellent small powered hub

I own four of these powered hubs (three in use, one spare). The housing is made of aluminum, and is nicely crafted. They work flawlessly on my two apple computers. I have the iMacs on short platforms to elevate each iMac slightly above desk level; one USB hub is mounted to each platform with heavy duty double stick tape. This makes it far easier for me to insert/remove frequently used USB flash drives, USB chargers, etc. at the front of the computer (versus reaching around to the rear of the computer). The USB hubs are low profile in thickness, and have three USB ports to the front, one port on one end, and the power port at the opposite end where the supplied wall wart power unit is connected. Great USB hub.

Works perfect for my setup, I really needed an externally powered usb type 3 so I could plug in my laptop fan pad without drawing juice from my laptops power supply. I have my external hardrive connected with usb 3.0 and my keyboard/numpad hooked up as well hooked up as well. The sleek profile was also far superior than many others on the market, you could tell they did not sacrifice function for form when they designed it.

The j5 create 4-port USB hub is perfect for just about anything you would want connected to a tower or laptop. No lag time via mouse commands, no delays on connected printers, and no issues with charging various controllers. The ports are perfectly spaced and the overall design was thought-out well. If you find yourself a few USB ports short, this hub is for you.

I needed a tiny superfast hub to sneak from the back of my desktop to the top of the little table it's stashed under and this was perfect.

Allow me to plug into my printer, charge my phone and connect to another device if and when needed.
Oh yeah, I have Microsoft Surface Book 2. It only comes with 2 usb ports, so this purchase was a win for me.

This little hub really surprised me with the quality and finish of the device! Most USB hubs are almost assured to be entirely plastic affairs, but this one has a brushed anodized aluminum case. Nice!
The pass through on USB 3.0 power works well, but it also comes with a power wall-wart that is amply rated for those higher powered devices that power off the port, like my Apple SuperDrive.
Quite pleased as it is supported on both Windows 8 and Mac OSX Yosemite (I use both on this machine, so dual compatibility was really important).

I purchased this hub for use with my work laptop after one of the on-board ports failed. This fits nicely into the travel case, comes with an external power adapter for thirsty devices (haven't needed it yet) and a small connecting cable, and has a sleep-and-charge port. If I have one minor complaint, it's that the cable is a little too short. Case construction is solid, and performance has been, too. I don't think you can go wrong with this hub.

I bought this to expand my USB ports on a MacBook Air. It gives me 4 USB 3.0 ports (while using one) with necessary power for external hard drives. Since it has a power supply you can use it without the computer as a USB charging device. One of the ports can provide high power for charging tablets, but you have to unplug it from the computer to use that feature. It does everything I needed at a reasonable price.

The j5 Create JUH340 hub has 4 USB 3.0 ports in a small device that can be positioned within the 1' reach of its main cord. I like that it's movable to accommodate the various USB devices I use around my desktop from thumb drives to external hard drives. The unit seems well constructed, is heavy enough to stay where I put it, and works flawlessly.

I needed to have a few more sub 3.0 ports on my surface pro 3 and I defi needed to make sure that the hub I was buying was also powered by an ac outlet as well in order to use my portable external hard drives and iPad mini 3. This hub is perfect for doing this and is very slim and easily manageable so that it is not in my way while I have all my devices hooked up to it.

Nice compact design that does what it's supposed to do.... and does it fast. What it doesn't do is charge my Galaxy note 4...well it does charge it but causes all my other devices plugged in to drop off and then recognize them all again.... over and over again! It's stinks because I like to use my phone as a drive. Oh well.... if they fix this I would give it 5 stars.

I had to get this on a second go-round since the hub I originally purchased had a bad power cable and they didn't have another. However, I am much happier with this one - it lays flat on the desk (instead of having the power cord jank it all up) and runs my logitech unifier and my N300 USB wireless with ease and does syncs and other connections at top speed.

4-Port Hub

Purchased hub to add more USB ports to my MacBook Pro when I needed more than the two ports on MBP. Works great and when extra power is needed to power a CD/DVD or even a floppy drive, the included power supply does the trick instead of using the computer suppling its battery power to power the drive.

This does exactly what it says and flawlessly. It's small enough to tuck away behind a monitor or behind a desk and adds 4 USB 3.0 ports to Macs or PCs... Also includes a power adapter for supplying power to certain devices and allows you to charge things with it. Works great!

Works great! Easy setup. Was a needed buy (but impulsive) suggested by the salesperson. Although I could have bought a hub for $10 online (probably a $5 shipping charge), and a wait, this one has a 5gps speed (high quality) with a optional power supply for charging . :) ?

Used his hub and bought another one for my house. It is solid and has a port that also charges when not plugged into the computer. Fast on all ports and has a small footprint for the hub. Wish the power wart was smaller is the only annoying feature.
