Powers the laptop and charges it well; connects my keyboard via usb and an external hard drive. Allows attachment to my large monitor. Highly recommend.

If the computer goes to sleep, I’ll have to disconnect and reconnect it to get it working properly. I have a MacBook Pro that is only a year and a half old, so it should work fine.

I am still trying to work out if it is a hardware issue or something with the drivers.
