The only thing I don’t like is the length of the cable. For an iPad Pro the port sits off the table. But everything else is awesome. It has three USB ports with one of them being a powered port. Something you don’t see a lot. The other thing I like a lot is it has a small and big memory card port for my camera downloads. This would definitely be good for a laptop. It just sits to high for the iPad

I used this to connect my Steinberg USB DAW USB, Ethernet, Monitor (HDMI), USB keyboard and mouse to my brand new iPad Pro. Love this thing! I can run Logic Pro and use all of my resources as well as have it still charge the iPAD! That is huge!

Great love all the functions that comes with it especially the phone charger input(the one that is highlighted orange). It's made to charge your phone faster. Mainly purchased it to connect my Ethernet cable to my laptop.

Every port I have used worked without any problems. Just plug and play

Gives me most of the ports I needed for my 15” MacBook Air. The reason for the 4 stars is because it was more expensive than it should have been!

The dongle works, bit gets really waram to the touch even while you’re not chargong through it. Now sure how long it will last with the extra heat on the components. As of know, outsides of the excess heat, so far so good!!

I bought this “just in case.” Just in case i need an additional port of some sort & good thing that i did. At first i just wanted to connect my monitor to my laptop via a single USB-C where the GPU is located, but not before long my laptop was running out of usable ports. The J5 adapter remedied that issue easily. Monitor connected, as well as my controller, headphone amp, and whatever else I decide to connect to the J5. Sometimes less is more, but in this case, the more ports the merrier.

This has made working from home great! I am able to switch from my personal computer to my work computer without having to switch every single chord.

Its decently reliable, although the ethernet port kept dropping connection, so I decided to stop using it and just use wifi. The reason for 3 stars is that it gets incredibly hot. To the point that I'm sure it will burn out in next 6-9 mo. I expect some heat but this thing gets cooking.

Good amount of ports. I was able to fit a mouse and keyboard dongle, charge my phone and plug in an ethernet cable comfortably. But two things: 1)the cable is short so when I had my laptop raised, so the adapter dangled. 2) The adapter gets really hot, not sure if it's supposed to do that but within minutes the top and bottom were hot to touch. All the ports and things connected still worked fine

Purchased to use with my Samsung Galaxy phone's DeX capabilities and it worked flawlessly. Has enough ports to plug in my Trackball, iMic, and keyboard. It gets a tad bit hot and I'm not sure if that's normal or not - possibly a condition of charging my phone at the same time.

I bought this for my 2023 Mabook Air. This thing is awesome, has a lot of features, but the price is still a bit steep for something that should be included with a brand new computer, especially from a company like apple. It's a bit cheaper than other alternatives so that's nice, but yeah it'll still put a bit of a dent in your wallet

This has the following ports: HDMI, 2 USB 3, USB fast charging, USB C, & Ethernet. I bought it for the extra USB 3 ports as my new laptop only had one of those ports. It’s a little on the expensive side, but I had some reward dollars that I used. It works great, but it can get a little hot if you have it connected to your laptop for extended periods of time.

When in the age of gender benders . . . not trying to be political here. But everybody always needs that little something extra to make a hook up, right? The picture was misleading; it looks like you a female/male USB-C connector but, no, it's wired to the unit. I needed the female out for my set up. So it took an Amazon visit to get a female-female to complete my need. Other than that, having the video/data punch that I needed, it's working just as designed. A little pricey but it does the trick.

Great adapter to have to connect to my new apple computer. From connecting my monitor, SD cards, flash drive and so much more. My only concern is how warm it gets while in use. But it conitinously works for hours with out any cliches.

I recently decided to upgrade my PC laptop to the latest specs in advance of the release of Windows 11, but I also wanted to insure that that I was fully Windows 10:compliant in the event that I opted not to upgrade. Unfortunately the latest EVO laptops have reduced ports or help facilitate reduced current draw, so connectivity was not what I was used to. Fortunately I was able to find this adapter and the performance has been simply amazing! Ethernet, HDMI and multiple USB ports all operate with no bandwidth issues. And the exterior finish matches the laptop as a bonus! Looks great, performs great…what is not to like?? Well, it is a bit pricey, but since the performance is top notch that is really the only comment.
