    I bought this jbl amp because it was comparable to all other 500w mono amps for $40 cheaper. I'm running one 10" alpine type R sub that can handle 500rms and 1000 peak on an otherwise stock mazda3 6-speaker stereo. This sub was in a previous car for years on an old audiobahn amp that wasn't making much power anymore. Wow! What a difference this new jbl 500w amp makes! Install was made easier thanks to the included RCA-to-bare wire connectors that allowed me to splice in at the rear door speaker and install my amp under the driver's seat.
