The JBL Bar 1000MK2 delivers an amazing surround sound experience. Movies feel immersive with clear dialogue and deep, punchy bass, and music sounds rich and well balanced. Setup was quick and easy, and the wireless speakers work flawlessly. The detachable surrounds are a great feature and really make a difference. Excellent sound quality and performance — definitely a 10/10. Highly recommended.

The soundbar is worth the money. Just spend the money. You won’t regret it. It was so easy to pair with the tv and you can use with other devices wirelessly.

I rated this 4 stars because my first one had connection issues. The left rear speaker would constantly disconnect. Sometimes it'd stay connected 10 minutes, sometimes 1 second. I returned ir to Best Buy and the 2nd one works much better, however, getting the right rear speaker to charge sometimes requires me to finagle it around. Outside of those issues, the sound is pretty good for a sound bar. The bass is the best of all the soundbars I've heard. JBL doesn't skimp on adding a powerful subwoofer. The dialogue can sometimes be a little hard to understand during action scenes, but that happens in a sound bar. Obviously you're not going to get what you'd get from building a big full-on home theater system at thousands of dollars. Set-up is pretty simple

This thing has awesome sound quality, and the bass from the sub is clean and has to be turned down or it’ll rattle the walls. Setup was super simple. Plugged in power. Plugged in the hdmi arc and it just works. I haven’t set up the surround speakers yet, but the little bit I have played with them, they definitely seem like they are going to add quite a bit of extra dimension to the surround sound that you don’t typically get with a sound bar purchase.

Great bang for the buck system. Easy to set up, great sound for a medium sized room. This is not a system that will thrill a hard core audiophile, but that is not what this is about. I like that the detachable speaker can be charged be reconnecting to the sound bar or via USB C, I do the latter so I never have to worry about running out of battery.

I’m really happy with this soundbar. The sound quality is honestly amazing it makes movies and regular TV feel way more immersive. The bass hits strong but doesn’t overpower the voices, so dialogue still sounds clear. My favorite part is the detachable side speakers. I love that you can move them around the room and still hear everything clearly, even if you’re far from the TV. It really makes a difference compared to regular soundbars where all the sound just comes from the front. The surround effect with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X makes it feel like you’re in the middle of the action. Whether it’s a movie night or just watching regular shows, the sound fills the room really well. Overall, it was a great upgrade and definitely worth it if you want better sound without setting up a full home theater system.

Our sound bar was easy to set up and sounds amazing. We are very pleased with the sound quality. The removable speakers make it versatile and awesome for movie night!

I bought this cause it has 3 hdmi input ports and jbl is a great brand and it was on sale but the side speakers that remove and can be anywhere in your house and the sound is amazing i highly recommend this products ive been happy over a month now

Very good sound. I like the wireless feature so there isn't the tangle of cables to connect. I wasn't able to place the detachable speakers per the guidelines. Is this why the sound is soft unless I turn volume up which I can't do when my wife is asleep.

Sound is really good, set up is easy, a huge annoyance is if you want to put the speakers in stereo mode you have to change it everytime. Not sure why they don’t update the app so you can leave it in stereo

I dunno how so much punch can come from what seems so small! Extremely happy with this purchase. Im not one to spend on items such as a soundbar, but im excited i did. This item actually has 3 incoming HDMI ports, and the outgoing port. So acts as a hub of sorts. Passed my PS5 through JBL first, then JBL decoded for TV. My TV now looks exactly like it did on Demo floor after being able to unlock its true capabilities. Because of this JBL soundbar! So just the sound alone was worth it. The unexpected finetuning it unlocked on my TV was a mindblowing bonus i didnt even know could happen.

This JBL 7.1 soundbar completely transformed my home theater. The detachable surround speakers create real, room-filling surround sound, and Dolby Atmos with DTS:X adds incredible height and immersion. Deep bass (enough to shake dry-walls :-), crystal-clear dialogue, and zero clutter—absolutely worth it.

Rich, clear, full sound added to our TV room without having to run wires. The ability to detach the 2 rear surround sound speakers from the soundbar and move around the room is amazing, again, without the need for wires or power!
