Kenwood makes a great receiver and Apple car play is the best

Just purchased this, and it works great except I don't like the way you access the FM pre-set channels, nor do I like the way they are listed (not by station number, but by 4 letter station ID). Otherwise it was really easy to set up and pair with my Android and IPod.

All in all I like the unit. The interface is touch sensitive plus knobs for such things as volume or navigation where you want to go directly to the item instead of flipping thu menus. My only suggestion for improvement would be more customizability of menus.

Bought the unit and had it installed at Best Buy along with restoring steering wheel controls and adding a back-up camera. Any new unit like this requires time to acquaint yourself with the various functions, but so far I've had no problems figuring it out and I'm very happy with it.

I was considering on dash Garmin, but so glad I went with this factory replacement item for my teenage son's Camaro. He loves it, especially the back up camera. One feature he really likes is keeping the camera on and seeing what is coming up behind you.

This is a pretty awesome radio and has tons of added benefits. After determining my speakers were bad, we also replaced them to make the whole system rock. This does not come with satellite radio, but is satellite ready for those who want Sirius.

Overall it has lived up to expectations. I didn't give all 5 stars due to an issue where no sound was played intermittently. After pulling fuse to remove power and restore power it works flawlessly.

the old Kenwood this replaced had a nav system that went wacko. Hoping this one lasts a little longer. I was hoping the wiring harnesses would be the same... but no. similar but not the same.

Gave this as a surprise gift 3 plus years ago and they absolutely love it. The Apple Play makes their drives safer and more enjoyable

The features are cool, but nothing to write home about. If the sun hits at the right angel than the unit turns white and you cannot see it. Also, one of the cords is hidden, so if your Geek Squad installor doesn't see it he will either throw it away not install it, so you won't have an MP3 connection. Another issues is the traffic updates come from your cell phone data plan and not the unit, with cell phone carriers being stingy on data this is a huge issue. Purchase a different unit.
