I'm not sure why I paid extra for features I didn't need. So far this one is going strong and doesn't seem to have any issues. It's nice looking and they moved the buttons to the side of the machine away from the brewing mechanism, I am wondering if that was an issue when they were previously located on the top. Great job, Keurig. :)

When I asked he confirmed it was the 5 spike pod piercing style. It ended up with only a single spike. Price was decent though
