For my Jeep Grand Cherokee I decided to go with a full kicker sound system: 2 12" Kicker CompRs in Kicker Box Kicker CXA1200.1 amp with bass knob Kicker KS 6x9 components up front Kicker KS 6.5 coaxials in the back For the inputs I bypassed using a LOC/DSP and instead used Kicker's speaker wire to RCA adaptors (which Best Buy no longer sells for some reason) from the stock head-unit to allow for a low-distortion high-level input that the amp accepts. From there I used a DMM to gain match the subs for 1000RMS at 2OHM. Simple Review: THIS!....SYSTEM!.....SLAMS! SUBS: The bass is not only LOUD but DEEP with high clarity. The low notes shake everything in my car to the point that I've tried to use foam to soften the blow (useless). On the right songs it can sound like a bomb is going off directly in your ear and the box/sub combo digs deep enough to sound good on almost all music. Youtube "Kicker CompR 12 inch Subs (2021)" and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about in action. Crazy part is I feel like these subs could take even more power if I wanted them to. AMP: I've mainly ran Hifonics amps in the past, even ones rated for more power, and NONE of them have worked as well as the Kicker CXA1200.1. This amp delivers clean consistent power no matter the situation and barely gets warm to the touch. The amp also cuts on as soon as it senses a signal from the radio making installation that much easier. Even with the Start/Stop technology that the Jeep uses the system keeps pumping out sound at red lights. The amp is highly efficient too as I have not noticed any headlight dimming when the bass hits which is impressive considering how small the amp is. SPEAKERS: The KS series of speakers are a definite upgrade from my stock speakers. They really shine in both the bass and tweeter areas. The tweeters are crisp and provide high definition compared to my stock speakers. The bass notes on the woofer sound cleaner and less exaggerated leading to a higher clarity. The mids sound ok but I feel like these speakers could really use an amp to reach their true potential. Overall they blend well with the subs set-up which creates a unique Kicker sound compared to stock. Overall, you can't go wrong with this Kicker set-up. The clarity is great and the bass response is AMAZING. I'm actually upset when my hour long commute ends cus one more song couldn't hurt and everything else feels like a downgrade once I step out the car.

Powerful!! Never gets hot!! Very sharp and modern design! Easy to use, very powerful bass and the prote t mode is SPOT ON!! Definitely recommend!

Excellent class D amp, especially for the price. The RMS at two ohms is actually higher than they claim. I had no complaints. The quality was great. Size is amazing. Runs 2 JL audio 10w3v3 with no issues.

This Kicker amplifier is one of the best amps I have ever bought. Along with the 12” Kicker woofers my sound system is outstanding.

Great amplifier, used it for my (2) 12 kicker compvrs and they BUMP, as long as you wire it correctly it is great, reliable and powerful, great purchase, if i got another amp i would go for the cx1800

I have this amp with the Dual 12inch kicker Comp R and 4AWG kicker amp cables and it slaps hard asf

This is the 2nd 1200 watt kicker mono amp ive owned. The 1st was in my 4 runner and this one in my Tahoe on 2 kicker comp r 12s. It lasted i had it 3 years and it was still working when i sold it. So i got the exact same set up.

Product exceeded my expectations. Not only was the product exactly what I was looking for to push 2 12’s , the delivery was on time and driver took care to hide my box out of plain sight so it wouldn’t get stolen!

Great amp for my 2 12” kicker comp r’s no overheating issues

I did my research and I am so happy that I bought the Kicker duel 12 enclosures, Kicker 1200 amplifier and the Kicker wires on 2/12/2021( got everything that match so won't have no problems). I made a reservation on 2/26/2021 to install my sound system at Bestbuy, I talked to Justin the tech before my reservation and he thank me for that. I explain what I want and how I want it done and then I got his professional opinion and everything went smooth. I'm so happy with my sound system( I got the 4-year warranty as well so I won't have no problems). It pays off to have a professional Tech. to do the job right, thank you Best Buy and Justin.

Solid amp. Was having trouble finding the right amp to match my sub setup and was able to get ahold of this. Worked great and operates at a good temp.

Tgis was installed in a 2021 F250 replacing the BO garbage ot comes with. With new kicker speakers this thing rocks!!!!

My entire system is Kicker, with the exception of my L7 crossover. Even the wiring and rca cables..

This is an absolute powerhouse. I have not bought a bass amp in 15 years, and what is offered for under $500 is leaps and bounds above what used to be a $1000 or more. I run this through a pair of Kicker comp r and I can run it for over an hour at high volume and it barely gets hot. I ran 4 gauge power and ground and 12 gauge speaker cable and this thing functions perfectly. No clips, no dips and no fuse trips.
