The deluxe edition is only $20. If you're a big fan of kingdom hearts, this is a no-brainer! Comes with a pin, steelbook, and artbook. I also love the exclusive packaging with the foil and embossed lettering! I think the artbook is a bit basic, but I love the front/back covers! I do an unboxing video of this product VS the standard edition on my channel lil rice muncher gaming on youtube if you would like to compare.

I adore the franchise and series. The game is the EASIEST of the series and filled with cutscenes but the gameplay is a wonderful combination of new and older games

The game is stellar. I have waited a long time for this game to release. The art book is fine and I like the new pin.

It’s a great game but you won’t understand anything if you don’t play the other games in the series.

If you haven't played Kingdom Hearts, start there. You will be absolutely lost starting at 3 as the story is progressive. Fortunately for you (we didn't have this luxury until a few years back) Square Enix and placed all previous Kingdom Hearts titles in "The Story So Far," I highly recommend picking it up before attempting to play 3. To the review: Kingdom Hearts 3 is easier than previous titles and easier to complete than previous titles. I call this point neutral as there are different difficulty settings and you can ignore "kupo coins" (instant revives). Kingdom Hearts 3 is shorter than 2 but still has a good chunk of gameplay. I feel that with all of the commands the gameplay feels easy and smooth. They keep coming up with an excuse for Sora to be less powerful, but the easiness contradicts that a bit. The gummi ship sections are actually fun this time around. I found them to be a chore in one and just fun enough not to mind in 2. In 3, I was actively completing missions and building my ideal ship. The leveling system is fun and the missions are rewarding. There are also a lot of minigames in Kingdom Hearts 3. Most are relatively easy, but you do have to master most for completion. Fortunately, this shouldn't take more than 30 mins to an hr for each game to completion. And most of the minigames are fun though there are a few that are pretty frustrating when getting close to the high score. The story is just what you would expect from a Kingdom Hearts game. If you like Kingdom Hearts, why haven't you bought this yet? If you haven't tried Kingdom Hearts read first paragraph. If you don't like Kingdom Hearts why are you here? I feel that there are no middle grounders, you will either thoroughly enjoy this game or not like it at all.

If youre a fan or have played the previous Kingdom Hearts games and have enjoyed them then you can buy this without a second thought. Everything from the graphics to the combat to the side activities to the story has improved immensly! A cool thing about the Deluxe Edition is you get the regular case with the cover art as well as the Steelbook so you can display it however you wish. I cannot recommend this game enough. If youre new to the series then start with the 1.5 + 2.5 collection or The Story So Far collection either will fill you in on what you need to know before this game.

This actually met my expectations. Waiting nearly 15 years for a sequel, combined with constant “spinoff” titles (which were vital to the overall narrative) I was worried, but it pulled through. It’s gorgeus, it’s fun, and quite immersive. If you like Disney and Pixar films, then this a series you should follow. It’s a roller coaster. My only main issue is the low resolution and inconsistent frame rate on the enhanced consoles despite its relatively cartoony and linear level design. If RDR2 can hit native 4K I don’t see why this could not. I would’ve taken a 1080p/60 or 4K/30 option, either is a fair tradoff. Other than the technical stuff, it’s a must buy.

Kingdom Hearts 3 has amazing graphics • all dialogue is not fully voiced • new Disney and Pixar worlds have been added • Gummy Ship is now more open world instead of linear levels • lots of mini-games • on the tad easy side so veterans will for sure want to play on Proud mode to start • Great closure on over 15 years of stories that tie in from almost all of the other games • there are recap videos and text • the Final Fantasy content is very minimal. Overall I enjoyed the game quite a bit.

This game is a BLAST to play. It's gorgeous to look at and the battles are fluid and interesting, I'm really not sure why it took so long to come out, though; it's definitely the easiest of the three main KH games, and (as far as I know) there is no "Critical" difficulty mode as there were in the other two. Also, as is usual for this series, the dialogue between characters is disjointed and the story-telling jumps around and is extremely childish at times (yet super dark at other times?). But you should already expect that if you are this deep in the series! If you played the other games long ago, definitely give this a play through. If not, you can probably skip it; this isn't a game-changer for the series or for consoles.

Waited 13 years for this game(much like everyone else). Definitely the most aesthetically pleasing as the graphics are pristine. Gameplay, great. Story, AMAZING! The difficulty is honestly too easy but that will change especially with the software updates Square-Enix will release later down the line. Overall, solid buy, definite recommend and definitely need to play the other games first (yes, ALL of them if you want to get the most out of KH3)

KH3 is an amazing title but i don't currently own the dlc still and have heard its a little bit of a let down except the ending execution. But the gameplay is 10/10 and the story was a huge 10/10 in the base game totally worth the wait. A little short though and it didn't totally kick the king kh2 down from the reigns but really close.

Kingdom Hearts III is a Disney game, something that other two didn't feel like at all. What I mean by that is that it's stupid easy, light hearted and full of cheesy dialogue. It's also very short for an ARPG so there's that as well. There's not a lot in the realm of optional bosses either except one very disappointing boss which ends way too quickly. What's good is the amazing combat, the new Disney Pixar worlds and the final three hours. It's good but certainly not worth the 13 year wait.

I played the first kingdom hearts on the PS2, but did not finish it. Several kingdom hearts have since been released including spin offs. I wasn't really into the series because it was a bit corny, but I enjoyed the various characters in the series. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the game. The gameplay is not complicated and I liked the various special moves you can do depending on the keyblade. I liked the various characters in this game from Disney and the movies. The story can be a bit complicated depending on the games you played or the order in which you did them. If you have the opportunity, you can play the other games by buying the game Kingdom Hearts The Story So Far to understand the story. It's a fun game to play and the worlds you explore are interesting. Some of the dialogue may seem corny and annoying for some people. They do include some back story on the characters or story to the present. Overall, I recommend this game even if you didn't play the previous games.

Love the graphics. The game is a tad bit easy so I would recomend proud mode. The delux version is the way to go, you get a very nice steel book case along with the pin and art book. Game is also good for someone new to the franchise, they recap some stuff (not all) but enough.

I hazard to write this review as I do not necessarily want to turn anyone off to this game, so I will make something clear up front. I really enjoyed my time with this game and I was happy to be able to experience the conclusion to Sora's saga after so long. That being said, this is not the perfect game, nor is it the best Kingdom Hearts game. I went into this game with an assumption that the writing would probably be bad. But oh boy. Some of the totally innane chatter that happens in KH3 almost took me out of it, and my wife (who has not played any of Kingdom Hearts) would consistently look at me with a raised eyebrow and an eye-roll just to indicate how childish the writing truly was. KH3 suffers from a maelstrom of crushingly high expectations and a widespread misunderstanding. Very few, if any, game studios could make a game that perfectly aligns with 12 years of expectations, but I constantly found myself wrapping up story after story and saying "is that it?" At each turn KH3 disappoints you because it always *just* falls short of your expectations. The difficulty leaves something to be desired, the campaign takes 50% of the game to totally re-tell the story as if speaking to a 5 year old, and the characters are unfortunately not relatable anymore. After 12 years I have grown up, gotten married, and graduated college and KH3 hasn't. It didn't grow up with me and it feels childish rather than nostalgic. It is unfortunate that the combat and actual FEEL of KH3 is so good, because it really left me with a wanting that I know will never be filled at this point.

The visuals of this game are just unbelievable. This game is gorgeous to the point that I would probably just sit and watch someone play. The game play is much simpler than the previous games and therefore not as challenging at least on the moderate setting. However, I liked this as it made for an enjoyable first play through and makes me more excited to replay on a harder setting for the challenge. I actually preferred the fighting controls in this game as it was much simpler and less convoluted than previous with trying to quickly swap forms and scroll through several menus all while trying to keep your enemies at bay. I liked leveling up the keyblades for a change as well. Some people don't like the Lucky Emblem (IE: Hidden Mickey) hunt, I loved it even if the addition of a cell phone was a bit of a groaner. Maybe it was the nostalgia of previous trips to Disney World where Hidden Mickeys actually exist. I thought it was a fun scavenger hunt and they made those emblems appear in some very creative ways using various perspectives. I thought it was a little short. I wouldn't have minded the addition of one or two more main worlds. And I'm undecided if I like the previous games where you cleared a world once but then would have to go back and clear it again or in this game spending more time in one longer setting to clear a world. Pros and cons to both. In the end I love Kingdom Hearts and wasn't disappointed after such a long wait. It's a fun lighthearted game that is just beautiful to watch.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is the perfect conclusion to the series. The gameplay is insane and the story is amazing. For those who have played every previous Kingdom Hearts game and understand the story then you're going to really enjoy this game. If you haven't played the previous games then Kingdom Hearts 3 won't make any sense to you since there is a lot of lore. But if you want to play the game just for the gameplay and not worry about the story then go for it but don't think that you can understand the story just from playing this game because you probably won't. Overall I really enjoyed the game and it's probably my favorite kingdom Hearts game.

This game is the conclusion to the dark seeker saga we have been waiting for. If you are a fan of the series you will love this game. If you are a new comer well you will probably like the combat and game play as well as the dinsey stuff but as far as understand the over all story that might be hard. They do provide videos in the menus to catch you up somewhat but it is recommended to get the kingdom hearts the story so far collection that way you can play all the games and get all the story. Just because it is KH3 does not mean it is the 3rd game in the series. It is actually the 11th I think. Anyway its fun and I am happy.
