Similar to other reviews, some of the buttons no longer work. Started with the number "3", and, two weeks later, now the "Start" button doesn't work. Additionally, some of the display lights / lines are going out as well. Could not be more disappointed in a microwave that costs this much.

It has a very soft hum when heating so that is good. It is also easy to clean. I cannot speak about reliabiliry because it us still quite new.

They said sorry, since it is a counter top unit. I would avoid Kitchen aid until they get there act together. I could have purchased a much cheaper unit if I knew Kitchenaid was sellting throw aways.

The push button to open the door broke in half. Now the buttons are intermittent. Shopping for a new one. NOT getting Kitchen Aid.
