I have had fhe worst install service experience anyone can imagine. Since mid July i have had 5 different installers come to the house as arranged by Best Buy. None of them have been able to install this icemaker claiming they are unable to hook up the water line. The last one said i was supposed to purchase one with a drain pump. So now i have changed the purchase to a kitchen aid icemaker with drain pump included. I still have no idea if they will be able to install it. THE BEST BUY CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN HORRIBLE!!! NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO ENDURE THE COMPLETE DISORGANIZED CHAOS THAT BEST BUY CREATED FOR ME. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCE FROM BEST BUY. This also happened with a refrigerator I bought from Best Buy.

Great ice maker . Easy to install. Quiet compared to other ice makers

This ice maker has already broken down. I had to call Best Buy to get a repair which was an ordeal, Terrible serve on a very expensive ice maker that is only a few months old. I purchased a $100 Magic Chef that is worth every penny. It makes great ice and is saving us while we wait for Best Buy to either replace or repair our $2600 one.

So Far so good. Been in a month so time will tell.

Something all kitchens or bars should have! Nice clear ice. But just know it needs to be cleaned often and filter changed also often so as not to ruin the pump.

So far so good. This was replacing the model previous to this one that had several mechanical, computer, electrical issues.

This is my second Kitchen Aid ice maker in 12 years and works as great as my first one. Small ice cubes and great in our outdoor bar.

I bought this fridge a year ago and turned around and bought it again. It is a very nice appliance. Lots of room, stays very cold and like the reminder when kept open too long.

Do not purchase. We have owned this machine for 3 months and it’s worked for 3 days. The repair team has been here 3 times and still doesn’t work. I have to buy a bag or two of ice a week and own a $3k ice machine that doesn’t work.

Nice combination of small ice cubrs with a low noise kevel.

It broke after a year and 7 days. Seven days after manufacture's warranty expired. Having 25 lbs of ice on had is great, but the machine melts and refreezes the ice daily. Regardless if its full or not. A total wast of power. So you have to remember to turn it off. It should be automat like a refrigerator.

Feels cheap and the pump makes a lot of noise all the time. Also note it does not include the filter.

Appliance is working fine. The process of buying, delivering and installation went very smooth.

I would normally give this well built ice maker higher marks. It is attractive with quality construction. I have however given this ice maker a below average rating due to the very small ice cubes it makes. The cubes are small and melt very quickly. I would not buy this machine again.

Replaces earlier model so we already knew we'd be happy with it! Small ice. Requires a drain.

Hope it lasts longer than my last ice maker which lasted only 5 years

Your Right Hand does not communicate with your left! I have never seen a store that large to screw up a pick up before. THIS SECOND KITCHENAID ICE MAKER IS TERRIBLE! THIS IS THE 2ND ONE WITHIN A FEW MONTHS-DON'T WORK AT STARTUP/ STOPPED WORKING AT TWO WEEKS==DON'T PURCHASE PRODUCT.

really noisy. im not happy with this purchase at all. im thinking about purchasing a noise reduction blanket/insulation to cover the unit so that it dampens the noise.

Pump went out after 3 weeks. This also caused a leak in the drain tube which was secured by a small tube clamp that was also stripped. Glad it was under warranty.
