Not a good experience with this high end product, and it was professionally installed. The GE that this replaced lasted over 12yrs. Looks nice in my kitchen but I need product that works well and is durable.

Louder than advertised, weird sounds

It looks nice and seems to clean and dry well. My biggest complaint is that it’s not nearly as quiet as I had hoped. The dishwasher makes this really annoying clicking sound that I’ve never heard before from a dishwasher. It happens for a couple minutes at a time and then stops, and then repeats several times during the wash cycle. While the rest of the wash is fairly quiet, this clicking sound is a total dealbreaker.

Frustrating & ridiculous! Plus, 2.5 hrs for one cycle.

I had this unit installed on May 29th. In early July water started leaking from the base of the unit. Its wasn't until July 20th a local KitchenAide tech was able to check the unit, and saw the water pump broke. He ordered new parts, and as of August 31st my dishwasher has NOT been repaired. KitchenAide and the local services technician cant seem to locate a hose and WILL NOT attempt to repair the until until all the parts are in. They are now saying it might be September 14th until they can have a technician out. I will never buy another KitchenAide dishwasher again!
