Model KDTM605KPS. Outstanding washer. Cleans great. Quiet. Huge capicity. Features I did not know I wanted and now enjoy.

Kitchenaid has come through with this dishwasher. After returning the Samsung we purchased due to lack of cleaning and difficulty fitting in regular dishes, the Kitchenaid was a dream. I can fit our chunky bowls on the third rack and they are spotless when cleaned! I have never seen a third rack that sturdy and with so much room. I am not having to wash every dish first and the tines are adjustable to help fit in different size dishes/pans. The construction overall is solid and is what I expected in a higher end dishwasher. The only downside is the silverware drawer. I miss the front compartment from our old one and it slides around a bit-no hooks over the edge and a little short.

Just the right features and good value. The dishwasher is quiet and does a great job of cleaning. It has only been a few weeks and so far no issues. We replaced another kitchenAid dishwasher that started developing issues (leak mainly and disintegrating plastic parts) - it ran for just 6 years and not impressed. Hoping this new model is going to be a bit more reliable with better quality. It seems so but time will tell. Recommend getting this particular model with a handle to avoid accidental touches. That was an issue for our older model.

Super quite and leave everything clean. Only thing is that the keys are too sensitive will need a lock system.

Best dishwasher I have ever owned. Cleans, dries, and has lots of room for all your dishes, bowls, and glassware. Love the 3rd shelf for smaller items like utensils and cooking tools.

We went back and forth between this model and the one just below it - ended up going with this one and so glad we did. The third row is amazing and so functional. Great installation, no issues , so quiet and really great dishwasher.

Pros: Does a very good job of washing and drying. Very quiet. Love the spacious racks and the top tray for glasses and cutlery. Cons: Cycles are quiet long.

Love how quiet my KitchenAid dishwasher is! It does a great job of leaving glasses spot free. The dishes always come out clean. Love the added bonus of a third rack.

We love this new KitchenAid dishwasher. We were sold when we saw the 3rd rack at the top that is perfect for glasses and smaller items. This dishwasher is so quiet, that it is hard to tell if it is running. So far, we have been amazed at how well it washes all the dishes, and they are all perfectly dry when the cycle is done. We highly recommend this dishwasher and would buy it again. Also the installation crew were very efficient and made sure it was working properly before they left.

This dishwasher is extremely quiet. Love the third rack on the top of the machine. The dishes are actually dry when the cycle is complete. This replaced my previous KitchenAid that had seen it’s better days.

I know how hard it is to read reviews. Either the person hated the item and it murdered their family, or its great. I read all the reviews for this dishwasher on several sites including the manufacturer, Lowes, and Home Depot. Seemed like everyone loved it, and I agree. This dishwasher is amazing and does everything you need, and it gets the dishes DRY. The employees at Best Buy were useless and could not give a crap when I picked it up, but i was just glad they had it in stock. I did not trust some rando to install it so I paid a local trusted plumber to install.

Had it a month.. exceeds expectations! Cleans great and so easy to load and unload. Extra top shelf is great because it offers both tilted glassware capability as well as large utensil rack... very pleased! Quiet too!

The best dishwasher we have ever owned. Very quiet. Really like the 3rd rack and ability to adjust height on middle rack. Dishes come out spotless. Highly recommended.

Excellent dishwasher. Finally stemware comes out without a ring. Very quiet operation. Love upper third tray where bowls and cups easily fit. I wish it had more plastic holders for stemware and not just 3.

I selected this dishwasher from Kitchen Aid (Model:KDTM604KPS SKU:6398729) because of Consumer Report reviews, as well as multiple online and Best Buy review sources. So far, it has worked well. There came a time when I thought there was something wrong because the soap door/dispenser did not close. The true problem was the hard water in my area. I ran a dishwasher tablet cleaning and issue resolved. The dishwasher cleans well, and I even bought a second one for an additional property home. The exterior is easier to clean than previous stainless steel appliances.

After having a 5 year old LG fail, I was debating to repair or replace. One of the things I hated about LG was the dishes were never dry, and I was informed that they used drip dry like many other brands. Kitchen aid was the only brand I could find that actually had a heating element. This thing runs great, I went this model over the $899 one because of availability and not wanting to wait 2 months for anything to be in stock. But I definitely am glad I went with this one, the third rack is awesome, overall quality feels great and not cheap. Filter is easy to access as well.

We wanted a very quiet and very clean-washing dishwasher. Take the very out, and it describes this machine. It's almost as quiet as we hoped, and occasionally, despite precleaning heavily soiled items in the sink, there are food particles stuck to them. This occurs during "Pro Clean" and "normal" cycles. We have yet to use the pots and pans cycle since all our loads include delicate items as well as pots and pans. Our previous inexpensive and loud washer did at least as well on pots and we always used it on "normal". It takes 3.75 hours per load set on pro-cycle, sani-rinse, high temperature wash, and pro-dry! Even then, it sometimes fails to thoroughly clean stuck on stuff, and the items that usually came out wet in our old dishwasher still come out wet. However, I believe that this machine does represent the state of the art for $1,000 plus dishwashers.
