We've had our KitchenAid for over a month now and we love it. The self closing slide drawers are convenient and cool. The ice maker and water on the door are great, the ice comes out fast and plentiful. So far it's awesome

This Kitchen Aid Refrigerator/Freezer is the best design I've seen on the market. Aesthetically beautiful & engineered to be cost efficient, This 5-door unit features 3-ways to access the refrigerator without opening the main doors. Definitely worth the money spent!

This fridge is beautiful, even in the inside. I love the drawers. The produce drawer effectively keeps produce fresher longer. The filters within the fridge are unbelievable in how they absorb all food odors. This is a keeper.

5.5 years life span per my experience. Multiple issues during this period and repairs for ice maker, front panel, defrosting etc. Finally gave up when it start shutting down with PO code. Right before holidays, out in market again shopping for a new refrigerator. Very disappointed, it was an expensive refrigerator and should have lasted longer.

I love love love this refrigerator! Very spacious. I love that I can lock the water spout so that my toddler can’t waste water and ice. If you can buy this product from somewhere else I would definitely recommend because the delivery service inconvenienced me for 3 days

Beautiful Fridge but a couple of complaints

I really love this refrigerator. It is beautiful and I am enjoying having it in my kitchen. It is cooling as it should. My only complaints deal with things that I feel, as expensive as the refrigerator is, KitchenAid should have stepped up to the plate and improved these 2 things 1)The ice maker in the door sounds "cheap." The only way I can explain it is that it sounds like cheap plastic when dispensing ice. Also the same for the water. It is an odd statement, I know, but you have to hear it to understand. 2)While the 2 additional refrigerated drawers are soft closing, the upper doors are not and you have to be careful to close doors lightly because they will slam if you don't, and it sounds like something might break.. I do love the fridge overall, but again, for the price of the product, I was disappointed in these cheap aspects.

We've only had this for a few weeks, but I can tell it doesn't hold as much as previous refrigerators. The ice maker takes up all he door space on one side. The shelves aren't very deep either. I do like the two smaller drawers in the middle and the drawers in the freezer, which helps with organization. Overall, I like the look and it works well, but I wish it held more.

The refrigerator keeps food fresh, but does not lend adequate accommodation for eggs, milk and juice products. Bins are adequate for fresh fruits and vegetables. There is leakage from the ice machine as other users have indicated.

I like this frig eventhough it was a little pricey. I like that it has 5 sections with two drawers, one for produce and the other for dairy.
It eases organization of food in the frig, I do not have to open the whole frig just to get a cup of yougurt for example.

Water comes out as a spray, not a stream and continues to spray even after the button is depressed. Plus tube is placed too far forward so the button has to be held instead of just using the glass or bottle to get water. It is an expensive fridge and should not have glitches.

This replaced our LG. Some pays are plastic. We did not notice the red on the end of the handles at the store. The ice maker is noisy when being used. Otherwise, GREAT!

Fridge is very nice excellent way of spacing drawers and shelves. Just got it for a week, heard a clunking noise twice, waiting to see if there is a problem or not.

I love everything about this refrigerator except the ice maker doesn't make enough ice and the water in the door doesn't dispense very cold. I would also prefer an alarm if doors or bottom freezer door aren't closed all the way. Sometimes the kids get in a hurry and one of them isn't secure.

This refrigerator is fantastic! We love the space of a French door fridge, and it seems like KitchenAid utilized every square inch in both the fridge and the freezer. The sliding freezer shelves are awesome, and the whole area seems to be really well planned. It took Best Buy 4 tries before they could deliver one that wasn't damaged, so that was really frustrating. But the fridge itself is great- would highly recommend!

5 months to get icemaker replaced on new refrig

I purchased a brand-new $3,200 KitchenAid refrigerator on 2/21 and on 3/9 the icemaker stopped working. I am told by KitchenAid I will have the replacement icemaker by 8/16. That is just unacceptable to me, I would never buy a KitchenAid product again.
If you want to read all the painful details, they are listed below.
I purchased this product on 2/21/23. After it was installed, it would not make ice unless it was on fast ice mode. I called KitchenAid and they gave me a list of things to check. None of which corrected the problem. So, I asked them to replace the icemaker. They said the icemaker was working so they could not replace it under warranty. By 3/9 it stopped working completely. I called KitchenAid again and they said they would send out an authorized repair service. Two weeks later Field Supply & Service contacted me to set up an appointment to replace the icemaker. Now we are into mid-March. The service rep comes out, takes a look at the refrigerator and determines the icemaker is bad. But unfortunately that icemaker is on back order and will take 2 to 3 weeks to get it. Four weeks late I call Field Supply & Service and asked if they got the replacement icemaker and they said it was still on backorder but they would check on it. Now I am in mid-April and still don't have a working icemaker. In the beginning of June, I called Field Supply & Service and again asked them if they got the replacement icemaker. They said they did not receive it but would check on it. On June 16th I call KitchenAid and complained that since Mach I had not had a working icemaker and that Field Supply & Service keeps telling me the icemaker is on back order.
So, on June 16th I asked KitchenAid why it was taking so long to get the part. The told me they have a 21-day part replacement policy but Field Supply & Service never informed them of the backorder. But I would have the icemaker in 21 days. On 7/17 I called KitchenAid and asked them when they would be coming out to replace my icemaker. They informed me that it was 21 business days. I said OK it been a month, where is the icemaker? They told me that Field Supply & Service did not place the backorder through KitchenAid so they canceled the 21-day replacement part guarantee. But they would get back involved but it will take another 21 business days. I will get the replacement icemaker by 8/16.
That is totally unacceptable that must go from 3/9 to 8/16 without a working icemaker on a brand-new refrigerator. They apologize and sorry you to death but do nothing to quickly resolve the problem. I asked to speak to a manager but I only got to talk to a supervisor that again only apologized and sorry me to death. I asked for an email address of a manager in customer service but they will not give that out. You are just out there on your own.
