Customers commend the 24" Top Control Built-In Stainless Steel Tub Dishwasher for its exceptionally quiet operation and very good cleaning performance. Many appreciate the convenience of the third rack and the generous capacity it offers. While some users have noted long cycle times and occasional reliability issues, overall the dishwasher is well-received.

Only had if for about a month now, but so far we like it. It is quiet, as advertised. Cleans well, and overall we are satisfied with it. The real test for me will be how well it lasts. We just replaced a Samsung that was only 5 years old when it quit working. 5 years isn't nearly long enough for what you have to pay for a dishwasher these days.
Oh, I installed it myself, and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. No issues.

Quiet, sturdy appliance. Cleans well. Got stuck on “gook” from meatloaf pans off using the normal setting. Highly recommend. The only issue we had was with order/ delivery. We did a complete kitchen remodel and ordered and fully paid for our appliances in Dec 21. (All KitchenAid and a Uline built in beverage fridge) We waited until all the appliances came in to start, which was Feb 22. We ran into issues and finally in May we were ready for our appliances. When I called to schedule delivery I was told that our dishwasher (and oven) were “lost”. It took almost 2 months to get another one, and when that one came it turned out to be USED. Even had dirty utensils in it and a hose with a broken end hanging off the back. No manual, no warranty card, nothing. Like it was pulled out of someone else’s kitchen and brought here. A few weeks later a brand new one was delivered. (In a box, with packing material, a booklet, even soap samples) Mind you, my husband and I both work outside the home, so this involved taking vacation time for the deliveries. So I highly recommend Kitchen Aid. Not so sure I’m confident with purchasing here in the future. We were promised compensation but got absolutely nothing and this was a nightmare. (And getting someone else’s dirty dishwasher - gross) I’ll say our salesman was great, I realize there was only so much he could do working for a big box store. Upper management really should have at least sent a letter or something. Unbelievable.

I purchased this dishwasher in a hurry - no time for research, so was especially pleased with the result. With a third rack, pull out spaces for wine glasses and innovative storage arrangement, it's easy to load - quiet and most importantly, it cleans well. It is attractive and sturdy, black stainless and has a handle - which helps avoid fingerprint problems. I've had it only a month but no complaints.

In general it’s a quiet unit. The door-top panel with count-down timer and indicator light in the door face are welcome additions. Seems to clean well and dries fast.
Great looking and has a very solid, reliable feel. Door closes with a hefty “thunk” and the racks are solid and smooth. The upper third tray is definitely a great addition..

Our 20 plus year old dishwasher died. We were treated very well in our visit to the local Best Buy and chose this model after a brief discussion. It was installed less than a week later and we are thrilled with the new machine. The third rack came in handy after our family's Easter brunch. The unit is quiet and cleans the dishes well. We are pleased with our decision.

Very quite, you will love that. Also, the 3rd rack keeps me from having to reach down. The big dishes go on the bottom so it makes it easy to use. I am old and am not as flexible as I use to be. The top two racks hold most of the small stuff and that is great. I would recommend this unit.

I’ve only had the dishwasher for about 2mo now, but so far very satisfied with this. It really cleans great and most importantly dries well- compared to my Samsung that left everything soaking wet. I like the 3rd top row and ultimately silence while running. Fairly good on price, so I’m hoping it holds up! Good luck

Very happy with this Kitchen Aid DW. It cleans more effectively than any other I've owned, runs very quietly, intuitive controls and pro dry eliminates water sitting on top of cups, etc when the load is done. Had some Qs about how useful 3 racks would be but you can make height adjustments to suit your needs (it is easy/natural to load DW amongst all 3 racks to maximize load).

I recently purchased a new dishwasher and I am thrilled with it! This machine has exceeded all of my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new appliance.
Firstly, the dishwasher is incredibly quiet. I hardly even notice it running, which is a major plus for me as I often run it during the night or early morning. Despite its quietness, it still does an excellent job of cleaning my dishes. Everything comes out sparkling clean, even after a particularly messy meal.
One of my favorite features of this dishwasher is the flexibility of the racks. I can easily adjust the height and positioning of the racks to fit dishes of all shapes and sizes. This has been especially helpful for washing large pots and pans that would not have fit in my previous dishwasher.
Additionally, the dishwasher is very energy efficient, which is important to me both for the environment and for my utility bill. It uses minimal water and electricity to run, without sacrificing any cleaning power.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this dishwasher to anyone. It is an excellent investment for anyone looking for a high-quality, quiet, and energy-efficient appliance that delivers sparkling clean dishes every time!

I debated between the Kitchen Aid and Bosch dishwashers. After much research, I went with the Kitchen Aid. Not disappointed at all. Super quiet. You can’t even tell it is running. Easy to use and plenty of storage for all dishes. The flex third rack is by far the best out there. It hold small cups, wine glasses and extra cutlery. Great purchase.

Quiet and works great! Dishes are cleaner compared to my 10-year-old GE profile dishwasher. I am loving the 3rd rack for cups and utensils. Overall, the design gives more room for storage, it is a great dishwasher.

I love my new dishwasher. Its quiet and works great. Very good experience with customer service as well. First one came a little scratched and customer service help me replaced, uninstalled and reinstalled very quickly. Installation staffs are friendly and easy to communicate. Overall a very good experience.

Let me start by saying that when this dishwasher is working, it works great.
The problem lies with the repeated F1E9 error observed in the 18 months since purchase. Whirlpool/Kitchenaid-certified maintenance technicians have inspected the dishwasher on 5 or 6 separate instances and really find nothing wrong with the pump/drainage which is indicated in the manual for this error code.
When the F1E9 error code pops up, the cycle stops and the machine beeps. This has happened probably 50 to 100 times since purchase. The technicians are all aware this appears to be a defect in the device, and appears related to a sensor, possibly resulting from too much "sudsing". This is not a definitive conclusion, but signs are pointing in this direction after multiple visits.
On the advice of the service engineer, we have tried various detergents, have followed the advice to not pre-rinse dishes in the sink, not run empty or half-empty loads, etc, yet the problem persists.
Now we have been asked to try to have our water hardness checked, to try to find "half strength" detergents that might match up with our water hardness...again, all in suspicion that *maybe* the problem relates to sensors tripping due to too many suds.
Whirlpool/Kitchenaid to their credit extended our original warranty to 18 months from the original 12, but this is set to expire and we are stuck with a machine that is probably never going to function reliably.
Spending this much money on a dishwasher only to have it continually run into problems is disappointing. Users shouldn't need an advanced chemistry degree to figure out the proper conditions for these finicky new appliances.
5 stars for performance
1 star for reliability
3 stars for customer support for extending the warranty but now we appear to be completely out of luck.

The third rack is life changing for me. I love being able to wash coffee mugs and glasses in the 3rd rack while having plenty of room for all the dishes and pots! The racks glide in and out, easily. So much so, that I have to be careful not to slam the dishes while pushing it back into the machine. It is louder than my former Bosch machine, but is not terribly loud. One item that can be challenging is that the wash cycles are long. (Pro wash and Pro Dry together will run for 2 hours and a half) So what I do is I hit the button to wash before I go to bed every night. (PS I cannot hear it from the 2nd floor, or even from one room over, so it is no way "loud." My child has thoroughly tested the anti-fingerprint front and it stands up to that, too! Overall, I am very happy about this machine.

Only had this 15 days, but it is great at cleaning, has tons of space with the third rack, can barely be heard when it is running, and the best feature of all is that it retains the heated drying function of our old dishwasher then one-ups it with fan assisted drying. Plastic containers even come out dry! This one is a winner if it lasts years like our old one.

Just love this dishwasher. If you have never used a top third rack, it’s time to reconsider. I love that the large cooking utensils lie flat. Also a great spot for plastic container covers. This machine is so quiet that we had touch machine to feel the vibration. I fixed that the normal cycle is very long but the express cycle is sufficient. Much shorter.

Wanted a Bosch but unavailable for almost a year. Bought this one instead. No regrets. The dishwasher has been excellent. Very quiet and does a good job cleaning even on the short cycle. The top rack is handy for cooking tools (mixer beaters, serving tools, etc.), Would recommend it to anyone.

This washer is quiet as can be. Unless something is stacked wrong, you can be standing next to it running and you would not be able to tell. Takes some getting used to the three drawers (the top will only fit certain things), but regardless of which tray you put your dishes, they will wash and dry just as good.
Highly recommend it.

Great experience so far! We’ve ran it twice. Lots of room, love the third rack and adjustable middle rack. It’s very quiet and does a really good job getting the dishes clean and shiny. I love the sleek look with buttons on top so not to be seen when the door is closed. We got it to match our fridge! Would highly recommend.

I was holding out for months in the hopes that the Bosch 800 models would again become available in local stores when a friend suggested I get a KitchenAid. After her rave review, as well as reading numerous customer and professional reviews, I oped to wait no longer and buy this amazing model. Not only does it do a fabulous job washing and drying, it's also quiet, and with its third rack and adjustable middle rack, it holds many more dishes than my old dishwasher. Oh, and it cost about $100 less than the comparable Bosch model!
