I purchased this pair as part of upgrading my home theatre to 4k HDR and Dolby Atmos sound. They sit atop my right and left front towers. The surround sound definitely feels more real. More than once I have looked up thinking that there was a real noise in my house above me! One of the best scenes so far has been a scene in Captain Marvel where Marvel is interacting with the Supreme Intelligence and there is a roof collapsing overhead.

Great for Dolby Atmos small home theaters however I recommend the larger ones if you have a bigger room. For the price on sale, its a great value but I would never pay retail. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase!

I first heard of Dolby Atmos at one of the local movie theaters in town, in which they only had one screen which offered the premium audio service. After listening to a movie in Dolby Atmos, I have had a hard time going to anything else. So once I was able to supplement my own home theater with Dolby Atmos speakers, I have made it nearly impossible to watch movies anywhere except my home or the one theater screen with Dolby Atmos.

These are interesting speakers... which go on top of your front left and right speakers. They point up to the ceiling to create height speaker effect, like if something is above you. If you setup your surround system just right, it really fills in that sound space. Just make sure you ceiling isn't vaulted... they need to be flat to get the correct effect. The cool thing about these is that they are certified Dolby Atmos... so they'll definitely fill that "above your head" effect and it sounds cool!

They are supreme but I will say I wish they were a little cheaper. We got the highest end model version for our in house theater.

great dolby speakers, ended up mounting them to the cieling instead of using them as upward firing.

Bought these for an Atmos setup, and they do not disappoint. My only recommendation would be to research what Atmos can and cannot do... in other words, not every blu-ray will utilize the height speakers. But when they do, the experience is incredible! And I would want no other speakers to deliver that sound than these. Awesome!

why do these cost over 400 bucks? why when their on sale do they cost about half that? i have no clue. is atmos cool? yes and no. in my setup, i like it and i can tell the difference and im glad to have them but would it matter if i didn't? no. do things feel like they bounce off the ceiling and rain and other things sound like the are falling upon me? lol no. but having the added speakers do add more complete sound to the setup and i notice that the rear speakers do split the sound in order to work in harmony. i like it but for this amount of money i cannot recommend them. from what i understand you can do this with any speaker and the sound quality coming from this speaker is no better than the bookshelf speaker from the same speaker made form the same company, klipsch. so pay all that money for the angle cut of the box... get it of you got the money....

These speakers are wonderful with a full sound range, the base is full and the mid range comes thru without losing the high tweeter.

After much research I decided to go with this set of speakers for my upfiring Atmos configuration. I am unable to install speakers in the ceiling so to achieve Dolby Atmos I had to get upfiring speakers. Let me say they work well but spend the time to properly configure your av receiver. I currently have a 5.1.2 setup, all Klipsch and it sounds wonderful. I highly recommend Klipsch

Got these as an open-box purchase and the speakers work perfect. They arent the rp-500sa speakers that I wanted but $200 is much better than $575 for the 500's. I am using them as side height speakers and they are enough power for my room. The 500sa are BIG speakers and these look right with my r-41 surrounds. Good for the price but will be getting the 500's if/when they go on sale.

These Klipsch Atmos speakers are just what I needed. I purchased a pair for front elevation, and as a test of the technology. I'm going back to Best Buy tomorrow to get a second pair. This will complete my 5.2.4 system (all Klipsch RP), anchored by my Denon X4700H. Was skeptical at first--not anymore. No need for me to set foot in to another cinema/theatre!

Fantastic speakers. Using them as rear surrounds at this point in time. Their range is incredible, they look really nice with the magnetic grill covers on or off. Unique movie theater look to them up on my wall even though they are actually intended to be Atmos speakers sitting on top of the front main speakers. Price was unbeatable also. Great purchase. Audiophile or not you will love these speakers.

Underpowered for my setup even after raising volume at the individual speaker lever +6 each side. Returned and upgraded to the RP-500SA's. I don't know if Atmos is still the argument for object-oriented sound or just adding more speakers to make more sound so that you think that these speakers are specific to those sounds. Lastly, these speakers are too expensive for the offering a power. Which is probably why they want on sale a few days after I bought them carrying a discount of over $140. These speakers are definitely $300 speakers but I would not buy at regular price.

The Klipsch speakers are very sleek and are tremendous performers at 50 watt. Dolby Atmos soundtracks are terrific!

I couldn’t decide between Bose Acoustimass and Klipsch Reference. I bought both and a Denon Receiver, hooked up the Bose first and it sounded really good. Was going to return the Klipsch without even trying them. But I’m glad I tried them. Because they were head and shoulders above the Bose! I am using these for Atmos front height speakers. They are awesome

Upgrading surround sound system blown side speakers decided to go for some pricier one. Nice when hung on the wall and the sound is sharp and clear. Would have given a 5 except for the price

I absolutely love these. A friend came over to listen to my surround. He said it sounded like the sound was coming from the ceiling. I told him thats what they are supposed to do!! The speakers are placed on the entertainment center. Not mounted up high so they really do what they are supposed to do
