I am using this as a Time Machine backup on my Mac and it is super quick. It did not take long to do the first full backup and now it only takes about 1-2 min to do my weekly backups.

Absolutely stunning SSD. What previously took me ten to fifteen
minutes to save, now takes two or three minutes. I have used a
LaCie Porsche Slim Design SSD for many years with it being
absolutely flawless. The included software is great and very simple to set up. In fact, I just received my second one.
