I have a LaCie backup drive which is still going strong that I bought with my old iMac in 2011. These drives are much more substantial than the cheap, flimsy Western Digital drives.
Very inadequate instructions and even the Geek Squad technician had to do research to install it on my less than a year old iMac with up to date operating system.
I would recommend this to a friend
