    I use the LaCie with my 27-inch iMac 5K. I have a 512GB SSD drive on the iMac but because I store a lot of video footage, I needed more storage. The LaCie drive is quiet and the gray color blends in with my decor. It was basically plug and play. I didn't have to load any software for it to work with my iMac. I recommend it.
