LaCie is a well respected brand in external storage devices. I love the rugged, shock-absorbing exterior case. I've had other LaCie drives in the past and they all perform well.

This is a great product if you're on the go and need to expand your laptop's storage. The rugged rubber casement protects it from impact due to falls or other sudden impacts. Compatible with Macbooks, and Windows-based laptops.

I bought this durable external hard drive because my kids knocked over my regular one. This gives me peace of mind that my pictures and documents will be safe. Also, when copying pictures and videos over it was lightening fast, took less than an hour for about 3000. 2 thumbs up!

I’ve had this drive since April and I travel with it daily. It continues to work reliably and has well surpassed other brands of portable drives that I have owned. It also comes with two connection cords so I always have an extra. Highly recommended!

Been using this LaCie drives for two years now. It's fast enough based on the USB standards and provide two cables (type A and C, making it convenient for different users). Reasonable resistant to drops and water (haven't tried the later). Would buy again.

This drive is easy to use and synch with my MacBook, and it is a bright color that doesn’t get lost in all the dark colored items of my desk.

Love this HD! May not be the fasted out there but it does a fantastic job for quick and easy storage. Its not too big either, so it's easy to carry around.

A bit bulky, but it does feel durable. It is equipped with a Type-C connection for the Mac Book Pro. I mainly use this drive for TIME Machine Backups. It is formatted for the Mac and has proven to be reliable, I had no issues with the drive.

Do a lot of video editing and ran out of disk space. Best Buy had this on sale for under $100 — exactly what I needed. USB-C for my Mac. Works great. I have not had any issues. Very rugged case design.

External USB is easily portable and easy to use. I am satisfied with how easy it was to set up. I adore the USB-C option so that I can easily transfer data from my Android to this portable hard drive.

I got this for traveling and working on my photos and videos. Love this hard drive. It's light yet the rubber keeps it safe from falls. I would get another one just to separate my photos and videos.

Well, I dropped my last external drive and ruined it. I have not dropped this one, but the cover is sturdy and seems better than no cover. It is thicker than a phone case protector, so I have high hopes that if I do drop it, it will withstand the drop. The only wish is that it came in another color than orange.

I now have two of these drives. I lover the versatility. I can go from PC to Mac with no problem at all. Very durable and fast.
