    Drive is durable and fits my workflow. Be careful to ALWAYS unplug the cord when the drive is in your bag! I have even had a support issue and Seagate came through under their support warranty.

    A few weeks ago my iMac Desktop computer needed to be completely wiped clean of information. In light of this fact, I needed to purchase a portable hard drive that was reliable. The Apple website highly recommends the LaCie portable hard drive above all other brands!

    I love my LaCie drives! I'm a photographer and I use these to store my images and they work perfectly! Never had an issue with them-- I have 6, and they're all flawless.

    Plug it up to my MacBook and my iPad. Sync all my photos and videos quick. If you have older apple products you might have to air drop to your phone and than send to this external hard drive. Also very sturdy I feel like I can go on a excursion with it and it will be safe.

    After I broke my last portable hard drive by dropping it, it was time to get something a little more sturdy. I have dropped this one several times, and keeps working with no problem. Since you never know when your going to drop your portable hard drive, I would definitely recommend this LaCie Rugged. You can never be too careful.

    I really don't need the rugged case for this PHD, but I did need at least 2TB and a USB-C to USB-C connection for speed. It works well and seems to be a bit faster than my previous PHD.
