La Cie puts out top quality hard drives. Had a previous drive for 4 years and am still using it. This specific drive was recommended by my daughters university professor for his graphics class because it works with both mac and non mac computers. We use it for mac. It is very durable great for kids.

This is a great portable external hard drive! Love the rubber case on it! Especially since I tend to be a little rough with my belongings. I’ve used this for about a year . It’s a little pricey and I have found others to be about as good. I still would recommend just nothing out of the ordinary

Love the durability this provides as I use it for storing photos when I travel for weddings. It's great that it has the option to plug directly into a Mac too so I don't have to plug it into a converter first and helps avoid the headache that comes with carrying around a bunch of extra cords.
