    Oftentimes, I honestly will go out of my way to purchase a LaCie hard drive just because they're adequate and reliable with read/write speeds for an HDD. However if possible, I'll usually wait for certain storage options to go on sale.

    Hopefully I never have to test its manufacturer claim of near invincibility. But as dropsy as I tend to be, this is one less concern of mine when traveling.

    This over WD any day. I have had to return 3 WD hard drives due to internal malfunctions. LaCie hard drive has worked smoothly and didn’t start with half the problems i had with WD
