    As a photographer who photographs in race boats and on location, I need a sturdy external HD. I also Tend to be hard in my gear. This is the only EHD that holds up for me. It never disappoints.

    The use of this external hard drive was very convenient. Especially the cords that were included in the package. Transferring my files from A windows computer to a MacBook was more than simple and successfully!!

    I reformatted it to Mac file system. Connecting via usb 3.0 rectangular port. (Aka usb A?) Sometimes won’t connect right away. Could be me and not the drive. Lately it’s working better.

    I have used many Lacie drives for my photography biz. They have been fairly reliable but lately many have been crashing. These get extremely hot and are bulky. After 3-4 crashing in a few month time span I switched to Sandisk SSD.

    This external drive is essentially plug and play. It's formatted for PC or Apple use, but is easily reformatted for Apple/Mac only, which is more stable if you are only using it for a Mac.

    My sister got this as it’s compatible with her new MacBook. At first it disconnected while syncing but that may have been her error as opposed to the hardware. Otherwise it’s done the job

    Good item... It needs to choose between apple or microsoft... Doesnt work if you use it on apple and write something on microsoft after...
