It works, but beware of the bad LaCie cable.

I changed the cable and it seems to be working fine now. I shouldn't have to replace a cable. So I give it 2 stars.

Disappointingly fragile

Didn’t exceed my expectations within the life span. It had usb c and fast data transfer which was great. I probably wouldn’t be purchasing it again as it didn’t last for me at least.

Did a backup the night before came back to check it, was good. Unmounted the drive and plugged it back in, woudlnt mount. Thankfully I didn't delete my original. bought it mid January and barely lasted till march.

My new MacBook Pro, purchased at Best Buy, didn’t recognize it, and the manufacturer, though friendly and responsive, couldn’t help. So, I’m out the price of purchase.
