A little over a year later, the so called Rugged drive keeps disconnecting due to faulty USB-C connection. I changed the cable and it seems to be working fine now. I shouldn't have to replace a cable. So I give it 2 stars.

Crapped out on me after falling off a nightstand at about 3.5 feet. Marketed as the rugged hard drive but doesn't seem to live up to the hype.

It lasted me two months before it broke down. Didn’t exceed my expectations within the life span. It had usb c and fast data transfer which was great. I probably wouldn’t be purchasing it again as it didn’t last for me at least.

Hard drive randomly failed. Did a backup the night before came back to check it, was good. Unmounted the drive and plugged it back in, woudlnt mount. Thankfully I didn't delete my original. bought it mid January and barely lasted till march.

I lost the receipt or I’d have returned this hard drive. My new MacBook Pro, purchased at Best Buy, didn’t recognize it, and the manufacturer, though friendly and responsive, couldn’t help. So, I’m out the price of purchase. Just goes to show, buyer beware.
