Product works excellent as expected. I transferred all my files effortlessly and correctly from my work google drive (as I was moving companies). I highly recommend!

This external drive is robust in construction, is compatible with my Apple MacBook with its USB-C connector, and is easy to use. I purchased it in-store, but it was not available in the store, and Best Buy conveniently delivered it to my home without delay.

Great drive, but it's not 100% resistant to ALL falls within the distance they state. If it falls head first, it's damaged and will need to be fixed.

Great hard drive. I use this for my photography business to store all my projects. Its small and unobtrusive and I haven't really made a dent in the capacity yet. I'll definitely be buying more of these.

I’m very pleased with this product so far. It was very easy to download my wedding album to my hard drive. I think it is a little loud but I don’t have anything to compare to.

Purchased as a back up for my daughters school work, which includes animation work. I've had LaCie Ruggeds throughout my career as an editor and felt this would provide the quality and "ruggedness" she needed and we have not been disappointed

I've purchased many LaCie drives over the years... always been impressed with the product. But this particular drive was a lemon from the start, and subsequently never used. I missed the 15 day return window, and when I went to the store with the product, I was told I was stuck with the loss. I was also informed that my Best Buy Rewards status had been deleted, erasing years of purchases, thousands of dollars spent, and loyalty, and would cost me $50 now. At a time when I would really like to avoid ordering from Amazon, disappointments like this don't help.

Solid external HD. We used 2 of these when we captured some 8k 360 video for a project and these babies worked so good. Fast load times and solid build quality.

If you have to buy an external drive if or the WD ones and buy a Lacie. I have had three Wd drives and they have all failed within two years, with no hope of data recovery. My 10 year old LaCie drives still work
