I believe that this is the previous generation model, but it works well, especially for the price. This one doesn't have any wifi function or app access, so you will need to manage your charging settings from the car itself. I have only used it once, but it does feel a little slower than the portable one that came with the car, but that might be just my perception. If you are not looking for all the bells and whistles, this is a really good deal. The reviews for the company are good as well.
