Great looking computer with plenty of memory and capabilities for a beginner to pro. Graphics are awesome for gaming and watching movies. Retired an hp computer after 2 weeks and am happy with all loaded software. Computer starts up quick and is easy to use and navigate around. Touchscreen is very user friendly. Would recommend this computer or Lenovo to all.

I am very impressed with the processor speed and amount of bang for the buck! I own a much more powerful desktop computer and I actually found that this laptop could do things just as fast if not faster. For what I paid for it I had enough money left to upgrade the memory and add some cool peripherals. I ended up using this as a second computer hooked to the same monitor as my desktop. I am very happy with my purchase! Highly recommended!

I'm a heavy gamer. The gameplay on my laptop is exeptional. No lag, high speed downloads.

The lenovo laptop computer is a very good computer. I am very happy with it. It is very fast and dependable. I am still learning windows 8. I haven't figured everything out yet. It is touchscreen but I don't use that feature. I don't want to clean the screen all of the time. I watch a lot of movies and videos on it. The load speed is very fast. I have no problem watching hd movies. Over all it fits me.

Good gaming laptop. Works well with most games I've been playing. (Sniper V2, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Castlevania: LOS 1&2, GRID Autosport, Dynasty Warriors, Endless Legend, etc..) Graphics is good enough for games I play. Audio isn't as great but decent enough. Haven't really used it for other purpose yet.

I had always used other people's laptops when I needed to, but when I picked up this laptop for the amazing graphic abilities, I was in awe. This is by far the best laptop I have ever used. Super easy to use and navigate through, crystal clear screen quality and camera, and very fast. Love it and highly recommend it.

Two words....Beast Mode....Love the speed and smoothness great for surfing, gaming or whatever you want.

This is my first higher end laptop. Key components I looked for were an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M graphics processor (at a minimum), 4 core i7 CPU, and 1080p resolution. This laptop delivers on all accounts, and I honestly don't feel like more is needed (I have a fairly beefy desktop, so the laptop isn't where the main work gets done anyways). For this price point, the only think I wish it had was a larger SSD size to it's hybrid drive.

I got this laptop for running Revit & ACAD & photoshop...it can run all of this at once!!! I did change out the 8GB memory to 16 and a hybrid-drive to a solid state. But its a great computer straight out of the box too!!

The specs for this laptop at this price point are really good. Here are some things I like. The memory at 8 GB is pretty good and there is an option to expand to 16 GB. The I7 CPU is fast and allows you to multitask. The lighted keyboard is really nice and you have the option to turn it off or change it to two different brightness levels. The design is something I liked too. Things I don't like. I don't like the tracking pad. It's not a big deal for me because I've always used a wireless mouse with my laptops. The hybrid hard drive is great for booting but the 5400 rpm drive should be replaced and I intend on doing that down the road. The screen is not as bright as I would like but by going into the settings I was able to get it to look pretty good. Overall I've been really happy with this purchase and recommend it.

Hard drive is slow but everything else is fast. With ssd th I s could be best.

We bought the computer for our daughter for college, she loves it & uses it like she's had a class on how it works, she can do so much with it and hasn't even started college yet. Everyone at Best Buy was extremely helpful and was able to answer all our questions, We like shopping at Best Buy because they have great deals & they are knowledgable about the products they sell.

Love the touch screen! Fast and easy to use also light weight.

Great machine! Not bulky like most other gaming laptops. Plays most games medium to high settings. I really love how thin and light this is compared to other gaming laptops. So much easier to bring around.

Awesome laptop for the price. Bright vivid screen, sound, features, keyboard, all excellent. Odd WIFI card so unless you have an 802.11 b router downloads will be very slow. Not an msata interface.

Went through 3 laptops for my husband. This one has held up to the standards and runs all his games flawlessly.

My review of this unit is more a critique on Windows 10 ... The hardware on this machine is nice enough. Some years ago I switched from working a decade or so on PC's to a Mac, perhaps it was 2008 or so. After Vista, I soon lost touch with the Microsoft OS's and it seemed like they produced flop after flop, but improving the software, yet trying to get people to switch up. Seems like they do this too often and honestly I fell for it because my son wanted a PC badly. He loves black and red and wanted so badly to play minecraft on a gaming PC. There happened to be an open box deal which dropped the price significantly and so I got him this machine. It's a beautiful dark finish with a subtle texture that appeals to both my son who's 9 and me a grown up. The red is a little racy and I probably wouldn't mind owning this machine myself. Honestly I notice too many macs as they are everywhere and it would be nice if there was a good alternative. I can put aside Apple's high quality fit & finish, in order to consider the experience of using a PC, and this is a very nice looking PC mind you. Right out of the box, the setup of a PC is painful, exhaustive and takes way too long. Maybe once you're in the PC world, you're ok with this process, but coming from the other side, it took me 10X longer and I was imagining to be up and running in a few minutes like on a mac. The other part of windows 10 which I was hoping would be fixed would be the speed at which things would happen. Take for instance restarting.. I guess you could boil water in the time it takes to restart a PC. I might be exaggerating, but I would never want to hold my breath and bet on winning. With a 2012 macbook air, it might take about 15 seconds.. The windows 10 interface is confusing and it hurts that there's kinf of 2 looks to the operating system so you feel uneasy that you're just being given a simple mask to look at while it's still running over a version of windows 7 or something. Maybe I should just cut to the chase and say it's really hard to switch back. Once you switch to a Mac it's hard to go back.

I've owned this computer and used it for at least 1 month now, and it appears to function as I'd hope for. I got this, because I want to use adobe photoshop more, while also having other programs open at the same time. I'm happy with this item, especially for the reasonable cost.

Awesome laptop but my only bad opinion about it. Is the battery life. 4 hours sucks
