      Once again, thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaCentre 510A Desktop. You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up.     I have been using Apple products for all my adult life. I recently went with PC and I don't see myself going back. Lenovo is actually a pretty good PC. I've had it for a couple of months and has been working well and I am truly happy. Bang for your Buck.

    The desktop computer is good. But I had to jump thru hoop to get Lenovo to honor my warranty start date as the day I bought the computer. The warranty start date was 4 months before I bought the unit. They said Best Buy is a reseller and the warranty starts when Best Buy receives the unit. I had to supply a receipt, since I bought on-line and picked up at the store, all I had was my e-mail notice that the computer was ready for pickup. Lenovo would not accept that notice (I had done a scan of it and sent it with my request for the full warranty). I then sent them the e-mail that said my purchase had been picked up and a picture of the red tag on the box with my name. A lot of trouble for a simple request.

    The DVD player is thin and I perceive it is fragile. But I don't believe I will need to use it very often. Otherwise I am satisfied with the 510A-15ICB's features. It is quiet and I have been happy with its performance. Note, I bought it while it was on sale which was key in its value rating.

    Got this computer for my mom to replace her old one. It's plenty fast, doesn't come with too much bloat-ware, and has more than enough storage for her photos and music. If you just need something for the family to use at home for everyday browsing, this is an excellent choice.

    We purchased this computer for word processing and internet browsing. It is more than capable of handling those tasks with no issues. Would not be suitable for heavy multi-tasking, gaming, etc. Plenty of storage and memory is expandable up to 16GB.

    I'm not sure what excellent is anymore, but this PC suits my needs to a T. Fast ,quiet, not loaded with crap software, and with Windows10 you don't need McAfee. I would have liked a couple of SS USB on the back but not a deal breaker

    Love this computer. It's very fast and very quiet. I'm retired so do not use it for work, only private use. Hopefully it will be the last one I will every have to buy. The cost was less than other brands and it's well worth every penny.
