After using it a few weeks I'd have to say I like it. As for the specs on it I couldn't compare. It does what it was intended for. Just web surfing and casino games. The graphics are very good if not excellent. I like the touchscreen. It opens nicely, and closes fast also. It is like a laptop phone, without the auto orientation. It was on sale and seemed affordable. No regrets.

Easy to use for beginners

No more waiting for updates, no more system changes that he doesn't have a clue how to fix. He also likes the larger screen. Nice to have touchscreen even though he prefers a mouse. Seems well built and very simple to get apps set up.

Great start up Computer

He loves it and price was great. He can't get over the touch screen. Came with security software but software states not compatible. Does not make sense to me. Somehow inappropriate images keep popping up occasionally on screen and not sure how to stop this. Review did not allow me to state exact pics.

My PC was so slow so i upgraded to the Chromebook, it was important to have a fast system and plus the fact I wanted I bigger screen as my eyes are getting worn out. There are options on here that I haven't even tried, such as the touch screen, folding it up and just using the touch screen, the casting abilities to a smart TV and probably more that I don't even know about!

Touch screen works well, as does the touch pad. Only minor complaints are the weight and lack of a caps lock key (you have to click an unintuitive combination of ALT+SEARCH, but seems to be true of all Chromebooks).

This full-sized C340 15 Chromebook weighs only 4.37 lbs. There is no CAPS LOCK key on any Chromebook keyboard. To engage CAPS LOCK on a Chromebook - Press Search + Alt on your keyboard. This one was much easier to get accustomed to and figure out some of the finer points, such as pinning things to the taskbar. I like how quickly it boots up and how well it takes wallpapers. It runs really well and I haven’t had any issues with running apps on it. Where it displays it’s battery power and notifications is a little different than what I’m used to, but it wasn’t hard to find. It was super nice to be able to use my google account and get things set up on it way more quickly than I expected. I’ll have to see how it holds up in the long term after schoolwork and the like, but as it stands now I am very satisfied with my purchase. The touch screen function is very nice.

The picture is crystal clear, the keyboard is responsive, and it is fast. The battery lasts a long time between charges. I am still learning how to do some things with docs but so far, it has been excellent. Also, I caught a great sale and the price was terrific!

I was online and had downloaded all my old files and programs within 30 minutes of opening the box. The speed is great, the imagery sharp, the sound divine. And it looks cool. I got my first chromebook on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm on my third, and if it weren't for my own clumsiness, I'd probably still be with the first. Still, getting a new computer every five years or so is not a huge problem. I use this primarily for streaming movies and other relatively simple tasks, but I know others who use it for much more.
