Great Laptop for the price

The price is reasonable for the 16GB Ram and 512GD SSD compared to other brands. It runs smoothly and fast. The charger is pretty big but the main purpose of the laptop is how it functions. I've had it for a month and have not had any issues with it. The fingerprint scan recognizes my fingerprint fast and is consistent. The laptop does get a bit loud at times when the fan starts up but it does not bother me and it doesn't affect the overall performance of the laptop. I highly recommend this laptop if you would be using for school work.

The Flex 6-14 ships with the Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i7-8550U processor, supported by 16GB DDR4-2400MHz RAM and a 512GB solid state hard drive. This is a high performance system. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The charger to this computer is a 3.5 in heavy square box that is suppose to plug into your outlet! the design and thought process behind this astonishing. The charger is so big and heavy that is it constantly falling out of the outlet or getting knocked out because it sticks out so far and it covers up the entire outlet if you use the top plug in. And if you want to plug it into a night light with an outlet (see them alot in hotel) you can't because of this short sighted design. Its as if Lenovo never even took the time to test this grand idea!! I called to get a normal charger that has been field test and used by all computer manufacture for decades and the amazing company of Lenovo told me to bad and if I want a charger that is practical I can purchase a generic replacement charger. This was the second Lenovo computer I have owned. I was debating between this Lenovo and a Dell and I wish I had chosen the Dell!! I wouldn't have to be dealing with ridiculous charger sticking out of my wall and falling out CONSTANTLY!! My advice not only don't buy this computer but find a company that is making the effort to design something that work unlike Lenovo who hasn't bothered to take the time.
