I have built my own computers in the past and was a little hesitant on this brand. However, I was greatly surprised with the performance of this computer. Loads quickly, plenty of RAM and hard drive storage. I would definitely buy and use this brand again as well as recommend to others.

The money I spent on thus computer is well worth it.i spoke witha dell rep and said the i7 processor was overkill as I use it for our lawncare business.But I say it's all in what you want and id rather buy something nicer and spend the extra money.im going to use thus to write books and I got this computer,an. I7 processor cheaper than the Dell i5 processor.i love it.thanks fir the great customer service best buy.

Hard to navigate websites, but performs fast. i'm older, and have trouble finding information.

I bought this for use as my workhorse machine and it is more than ample for most uses. I recently got into photography, though, and it turns out that this machine has some significant limits when it comes to using photo-editing software, not only out-of-the-box, but also for it's ability to be upgraded (graphics card, power supply, etc.). By the way, you should keep that last point in mind if you're interested in playing the latest computer games (which I'm not), because those games require many of the same components as photo-editing.

Works fine with light use but immediately starts lagging when I have more than two programs open or more than two browser windows open. Adobe CC has crashed multiple times when I use it on this PC.

I have had this unit for a week, it is a nice unit. I decided to upgrade to two Samsung SSDs, what a difference in speed. This was very easy to do. I have ordered the RAM I need to max out at 16gb. The negatives are: the specifications said 6 USB Ports, 4 of which should be 3.0 located in the front. This unit has 2 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 ports in the front. It also has 4 more 2.0 USB Ports in the back. LENOVO was supposed to contact me about this issue but i have not heard from them to date. The negative is that it is has priority Power Supply, so upgrading does not appear to be and option. It is a nice off the self unit, lightweight and quiet. Access the inside is simple.

With an I7 chip and 12 gb of memory, this desktop is prepared for any task. I am very pleased with the improved workflow: more gets done because you don’t have to wait for the machine to catch up when you are multitasking. There is an occasional bit of fan/disk noise, but not unbearable. With 1T of disk space, I expect storage will not be a problem. A bonus feature is that the machine came without a bunch of freeware, so setup was a breeze.

We are happy with this purchase because what it was listed has been working as expected. I would like that the DVD holder was a little bit more solid, I treat it carefully. I love that is faster and quieter as promised. I can multitask and be still very safe not losing work. I use it also to edit pictures and edit and create videos (Photoshop/Elements) and has been great! So summarizing, hardware is great, software wise is just a comment since is part of Windows 10; I like it but it has so many glitches that Windows 10 interferes somehow with the whole experience, but overall it was a great purchase.

I've had this computer for nearly a year now so feel I can give it a fair review. It is whisper quiet-makes no noise at all. The i7 processor is fast enough for any tasks I'm performing. I don't do any gaming so can't speak to it's speed for that. There are enough USB ports with WiFi, Bluetooth and an Ethernet port- all pluses. I use only the Ethernet port for connectivity as it's faster and more stable than WiFi. The one big drawback that I didn't consider when I bought it and why I can only give it 3 stars are the monitor ports. There is the old VGA and an HDMI port. I have an older Asus monitor which has VGA and it connected to the computer with no problem. I wanted to upgrade and recently purchased a Samsung 75 Hz IPS monitor which has HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort and the computer refused to accept either the HDMI to HDMI or DVI to HDMI cable connection and I had to return the monitor. I'm VERY upset about this as I want to get rid of my old monitor and really loved what the Samsung offered. I also would never purchase a PC with Windows 10 again as I don't like the operating system. So in retrospect I would not buy this PC again for these reasons. And now I have no idea what kind of monitor I can upgrade to and hope I'm not stuck with having a generic monitor just because of this computer.

So far, so good. The set up was easy, but it took a while before it was ready to use because the software needed to be updated. Once it was updated and ready to go, I was pleased to learn that it didn’t have all of those extra programs on it that I wouldn’t have used. The computer is fast. The only issue is the fan. It is pretty loud, especially if it’s located in a quiet setting. I don’t want to give it a four star rating because of that.

I bought this desktop for research purpose. My simulation runs pretty fast using it. It also has other functions such as DVDROM, card reader and serval USB port. It can support the Lenovo dock station, which enables me to use serval monitors at the same time. I like it very much.

This PC is a great deal for a workspace PC. It's I7 processor and 1TB hard drive is great for the price. It's not something you can use for gaming since it doesn't have a Graphics Card, but it does include the built in graphics which would do normal tasks such as youtube videos, or something relevant to that.

Really happy with this purchase - our first new computer in over 10 years. Fast and plenty of disk space. And lots of USB ports. Not too fond of the speaker connection in the front, but that's my only complaint. Want to thank the Best Buy salesman (Jacob) for recommending this to us.

with my life going on line with Zoom and related stuff, my old desktop just didn't have the guts to do the work. This machine was great! Migrating settings and documents was simple. The set up was quick. The power was everything I need and all this at a price lower than any other place I looked.

The fast processor really helps this along, with a quick boot-up and responsive apps. Tons of storage and memory for everyday office tasks and for the multi-lingual material I work with frequently. I’ve been pleased overall with Lenovo desktops and would recommend them over other brands.

This PC is great. It's got 12GB of Ram and an 8th gen i7 processor, great for content creators or for high processing programs. One plus about this PC is that it is highly customizable with graphics cards but only able to be upgraded to 16GB of ram :( other than that this PC will give any user from basic search engine use or multi takers with multiple programs open to those who need high in demand hardware from a rig. Thumbs up and the price is not bad for this computer. Definitely one of the best PCs in its class.

Excellent desktop, works fast and it has big capacity for recording your work, high efficiency, some usb inputs and beautiful design. Easy to use. I recommend this option to buy a desktop

I purchased this desktop a month ago. I was skeptical purchasing windows 10 with known issues of BSOD. As of today, I haven't had any issues with blue screen of death. I've read the reviews before I purchased and the ones that stuck out to me were HDD being slow, the fan being loud, and cycle the desktop because it didn't come out of sleep mode. The boot time with HDD is 33 seconds which isn't as fast as a SSD but it is fast enough for me. If you're in a hurry to save precious seconds by all means pay the extra money and install SSD. About the fan, yes you can hear the fan running but isn't as long as some people reviewed. If it's quiet in the house you can notice it working but that's the only time you'll hear it. Having to cycle the desktop in sleep mode I believe I have had to do that once I would say 90% time it'll wake up after moving the mouse. Every desktop will come with that issue it's not going to wake up 100% of the time. It's a machine loose connection or communication lost will happen between the desktop and monitor. If you don't want to pay for the antivirus or Microsoft office just uninstall it. You can find antivirus for free and you can use open office or libre office for free.

This is my first Lenovo. I've had HP for years and am disappointed with them recently. Easy set up and working great so far. I'm recommending Lenovo to everyone now.
