Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and will affect the device’s power output leading to enhanced battery life. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.
Secondly, the Legion 7i allows you to change the computer’s thermal mode. This will allow your device to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Space app, Under the CPU and GPU Performance gauges you will find the option to toggle performance profiles. We suggest using Quiet mode which will lower the temperature of your Legion 7i when under load and reduce power consumption. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.

I was informed this was an “awesome” upgrade and the game that was included in the purchase package was so good he had to go out and buy a controller. I had concern that the 8mg VRAM on the RTX 5070 would not be enough, but that has not been an issue. Very happy with this purchase. Also, the sales staff was very helpful when I had an issue with picking up my online purchase at the store. I would like to thank them for their help.

It is just as fast as the day I unboxed it. I use it for gaming, school and it handles everything without any lag. The build quality has held up perfectly, and it still feels like a premium machine for the battery it does drain on gaming section but it’s still powerful . If you want a laptop that stays powerful long-term, this is definitely it.
