Learned my lesson - no LG for me. Microwave barely lasted 3 years. I should have known when the clock on the display started missing numbers at the end or year one, this microwave would endure.

LG was the brand that store employees highly recommended. (Bestbuy and other stores) So I decided to start purchase all LG products for my kitchen that require all new appliances. My first purchase was this microwave.
The light panel showed some flickering since the beginning, but it worked fine, so I decided not to be bothered with it. Purchased it in 12/21, and it stopped working in 9/23; did not last even two years.
After research, I decided to change all three door switches even though they appeared to be fine. No luck there. I did not purchase additional warranty because I have never had a microwave that lasted less than five years. Instead of paying for a repair service, I will purchase a new unit by different maker. Wondering why all employees recommended LG so much.

so far so good , nothing special just a regular everyday microwave

Stopped working 2 days after purchase. Under warranty and LG serviceman repaired for free, bad sensor. Just don't understand how a brand new microwave can be faulty. This was to replace an 10 year old LG microwave that developed the same problem. The technician said it was not a known problem.
