Stopped working just shy over 1 year

Installed around the first of June of 2023, here we are July 8, 2024 and it no longer works. The magnetron has gone out. This $200+ microwave will last you just enough time to run past a 1 year warranty.

I bought this piece of crap when I renovated our kitchen. Most expensive microwave I've ever bought. Every $80 microwave that I have bought has lasted years beyond this pile. A noisy microwave

This microwave is noisy in operation. Because of the trouble of un-installation and installation, we decided not to go back to the store, but we wouldn't buy a LG microwave again next time.

Quit working in a month

I confirmed that the outlet has power -- tested with a multimeter to be sure voltage is OK. BB return policy had expired since it's only 15 days. Obviously, I'd recommend a different microwave than this one!

Only lasted 12 and half months.

Then, the light inside would go out and turntable would stop turning, then intermittently turn back on. The control board went bad and replacement is about 320.00. Time to buy another microwave of a different brand. Grrr

DO NOT BUY, WILL NOT LAST

It starts to warm up food then the lights go out, turn table stops but the timer still keeps going. Lights flicker trying to come back but nothing. Called LG and all they could do is suggest service repair people. I will not be buying anymore LG products.

Poor quality

Didnt last 2 years

The food is still cold. I have an LG TV and Fridge and its great. Im really surprised that this stopped working in such a short period. Do better LG. I am so disappointed and upset. This is crazy it stopped working 23 months after i purchased it.

Buy the extended warranty

Warranty is only good for 90 days full coverage; service call and labor cost for repairs are on you! Purchase the extended warranty or you pay for what you get!

Touch pad not working properly after 3 weeks.

I am one week over and realized that six of the buttons don’t work, wh y didn’t the installers check to see if all the functions worked before they left. Very disappointed.

If the buttons on the keypad are not responding, we need to check to see if the Child Lock mode has been turned on. Child lock will prevent the microwave from responding to the keypad until it is turned off. Make certain that the child lock is not engaged. Refer to the Owner's Manual for the specific model. If the unit has a child lock mode, disengage this feature and attempt to operate the control panel again. If this does not resolve the issue or if the unit does not have a child lock mode, unplug the unit for 2-3 minutes.
