Attractive and Functional. We love the sleek look of this microwave. So far the only program that does not work for our needs is the popcorn program. We have learned how to use the microwave to make popcorn by using a timed function.

We bought it because of its high reviews on consumer reports. So far it works great and it looks pretty cool too! It also doesn’t have an annoying beep sound when the food is done. The little jingle it plays makes me crack up each time. So far we are loving it!

I just had my thiird LG over the range microweave in 6 years installed. For the first one, I did not purchase an extended service plan. It failed just after the factory warranty expired. LG offered no help. Rather than pay for a service call, I just replaced it with an identical one. This time I bought a five year extended service plan. It failed just like the first one soon after the factory warranty expired. It was repaired under the service plan. At about 4 years old, it no longer heated anything. The service plan gave me an allowance towards a new one. I bought another LG hoping to use the same mounting holes in my cabinet. It needed different holes. I had it installed by Best Buy and because LG micorwave ovens have proved so unreliable, I again purchased a 5 year service plan. Based on past experience, I expect that I will need it. The newer oven seems to work well. It lacks the nice custom cook setting that the older oven had so for a common item that I warm up I now have to press 4 buttons rather than one (a minor inconvenience) The smartphone app lets you select cook time and power level, but there is no function to actually start the oven, What's the point of having the phone app if you still need to walk up to the oven to start it????? Based upon experience with two prior LG microwave ovens, I expect that this one will fail at about 14 moneths old.

Sleek design. Fits perfectly. Cook settings are easy to figure out and performs well. Fan and under light are bonuses

The door is super long so you need to step back to open it. The black part on the front isn’t entirely a window and you can only see through the top half. This means if you’ve got a plate in there, you can’t see it if you’re 5’5” (not sure how tall you would need to be). It also plays music which I will eventually try to figure out how to turn off. It microwaves fine and the soften ice cream preset works well.

It looks like a tv in my kitchen. Which I don’t like but it works and does the thing well. My only real issue with it is there are two option for sounds. Way too many or non at all. I hated how many sounds it makes so turned it off now I forgot my food done all the time. Mixed curse.

Love this microwave. Looks great, very functional. Cooks much quicker then the unit it replaced. Control panel is easy to use. Fan and light operation is good.
