Like the French doors and freezer drawer. The keep cold door in a door is great for often used items.

It's been a month since we bought the fridge and it's been great! It isn't very noicey. The ice maker is not a big size but that's not a deal breaker.

Being constrained on width due to cabinets and wall, this fridge fit perfect into the space. Love the quick access door and use it extensively. Bright lighting and clear drawers provide excellent viewing of food. Adjustable shelves are easy to use. Lower freezer has ample room, used for quick access and heavy used items. We have a deep freezer so fridge is not primary storage area, Ice maker/dispenser and water in door are great, used a lot and works well so far. Door alarms are wonderful to let you know the door was not shut properly or that you have been staring too long and need to shut the door. Very happy with it.

Let me start by saying I have read all the reviews and I tend to keep an open mind and dont take super negative reviews too serious unless they are overwhelming. That being said i will address the most common complaints and give my opinion. My last fridge was a samsung 15 years ago. It still works great, and i couldnt get rid of it, i had it moved to my basement. I am remodeling the kitchen and it's not stainless so it doesnt match anymore. Anyway, onto the LG. I want to love this fridge. It is beautiful for sure, but Im not sure about it. 1) when it first cooled down I noticed the shelves had condensation rings like pop cans had previously been in it. I contacted best buy since i ordered this brand new and their response was to tell me its possible cans were placed as a testing process possibly for weight or something by the manufacturer. I dont believe that to be true. 2)The ice maker is slow. In a 24hr period so far it makes about enough ice for me to use 2-3 glasses of ice water on the "ice plus" mode. Not a deal breaker as i dont necessarily use that much ice each day. 3)The water maker is slow. I have amazing water pressure where i live, and it takes nearly a minute for me to fill a glass of water. Doesnt sound like long until your are standing there doing it. I ran the initial 3 gallons through it at first, it took about 10 min/ gallon. 4)Noise. This fridge runs noisier than my samsung. As i said, i am remodeling, so i havent pushed it into the counterspace yet because im having a new floor put in this week and they need to get back there to install it, so for now its sitting in the middle of my kitchen plugged in. The compressor seems kind of noisy, and less noisy when just the fan is running. I have noticed over 3 days it seems noisier than day 1. Maybe this will alleviate when it is housed in its proper space. 5)Temperature. I noticed a lot more condensation than what im used to with my samsung, and the drinks didnt seem as cold, so i decided to check the temerature with thermometers. There are several zones in this fridge, and i have it set at the coldest temp: 33 in the fridge, -2 on the freezer. I first measured the top shelf. It came in steady at 38-39 degrees. Next i measured the deli drawer set on the deli/meat setting which should be the coldest. I got 36-37 degrees. Lastly i meaured the door in door area. The temp measured 49 degrees. In my opinion that is horrible for a refridgerator to be 16 degrees off anywhere in the unit from what its set at. All that being said, I do like the look and i can get past the slow ice and water. The noise bothers me slightly, as i am worried that the sound signifies something working harder than it should considering right now it is in a completely open space. My main concern is the temperature. I will contine to monitor the temperature once its placed in the cabinets this week, and maybe turn the freezer down more, but if i cant get the door temp down lower than 49 degrees this unit may be going back.

So far have been pleased with purchase. Only had it a few months and it has worked well. No issues with ice maker. I have used the ice bin in the freezer section,as I thought I would not, but when having several people getting ice the ice maker does run out so this extra bin makes it where you will have ice. The ice maker does make ice quickly so this is rarely a problem. Also the water dispenser is different than most water in door dispenser , you have to place cup on the outside of the water area instead of underneath. Make sure you read the manual regarding this as you may pour water on your floor,as my husband did. Have enjoyed the door in door as well. So far we are happy with the purchase

    Very good French-door refrigerator

This is my first experience with a French-door refrigerator (I kept my old fridge too long!) The comments reflect my mixed reaction to this type of fridge generally. The unit itself is eminently satisfactory: good build, everything works as expected, etc. The French-door aspect looks very elegant. Freezer being at the bottom, with regular fridge at around eye level is a welcome design change. However, there's a but: the proportion of the overall capacity that is dedicated to the fridge function is considerably less, relative to a standard refrigerator. The capacity dedicated to freezer is much higher. If that suits you, things are fine. But it doesn't suit me. There's no space in the fridge to keep a gallon of milk or a six pack of beer botttles. Even a half-gallon mik jug or a 64-oz juice carton can only be kept it in the "door in door" section. I am also ambivalent about the pull-out drawer design of the freezer. It's too deep. It would be better to go for a unit where the friizer part has two drawers, not one. The "door in door" feature is fantastic. For some reason, you cannot stick a magnet on the front of the fridge; only on the sides.

really happy with product read the reviews and have not found any of the problems mentioned water could be a little colder through the door I think I will try turning temperature down inside says recommend 37degrees I'm going to try 35 milk a little colder then. Baskets in freezer which salesman or another review said it didn't come with. had baskets. Mine is only 32 3/4 wide really happy with the space 6" deeper than my old one 4" taller. Can't wait to get the new double oven LG stove

It is much roomier than what we had so this is a good thing, but that is just because it is bigger. Still getting used to the French doors and there seems to be some nice things with it. I also like the bottom freezer. That makes what is in the fridge part easier to access without bending down. The extra service door on the right door is also very nice. The biggest problem I have is the ice and water dispenser. The water is extremely slow and since we do not need a filter where we live (we have actually won awards for world's best water) it is faster to get it through the faucet. The biggest disappointment has been the ice maker. It is extremely slow. We have a counter ice maker and it has been good but it is soft ice. It makes cubes about every 12-18 minutes. The ice maker on this doesn't even fill up in a 24 hour period. This is something the store apparently is not aware of. This is the main reason I am not sure it is worth the money.

We had previously purchased this same fridge in a 30 cf model we were disappointed in the differences after getting it home. Has only one ice maker and it is defective already. Door bins are much, much smaller too. Called customer service about ice maker and was told to make sure my fridge was un level from front to back. Then told to try ice maker for 36 hrs. Ice agin clumped, so cos service wanted to send me a video! I reminded them I have purchased two complete lg kitchens in the last T year and insisted they send out a repairman. Isn't,that what warranties are for? The customer service is with lg for the first year.

Versatile refrigerator with collapsable shelves. I really like the door that just "pops" open so I can grab things quickly such as butter, milk, or coffee creamer without having to open the whole door. I also like that its quiet. I like the water dispenser on the outside. My old one had it on the inside and it was a real pain.

I am really disappointed because I have had other LG refrigerators without any issues. However, I have had 2 service calls because the water filter light did not come on. After they changed out the whole unit in the door, it's still not working. Now today, the ice maker has stopped working. All the ice melted and the water ran into the freezer. Still trying to reach the Geek Squad since I have a 3 year protection plan but they are not picking up. I will try LG directly in the morning. So frustrated!

    Great Fridge And Looks Fantastic

This is the first “high end” fridge my wife and I have owned. It has plenty of space and is very functional. The lighting is fantastic as are the compartments. We love the slim ice maker and it actually cubes the ice instead of those obnoxious rectangles other fridges make. The only reason I give a 4 instead of a 5 is that fingerprints stick very easily and with today’s technology most stainless steel appliances have a resistant coating on it. This fridge does not have the coating to repel marks. The sound is also different than the old fridges which takes some getting used to. We do love this fridge though and for a family of 4 it has everything we need in functionality and appeal.

Love the new fridge. We replaced our 17 year old unit with this and couldn't be happier. it runs much quieter and the layout is much better than the old side by side unit, bonus was the $50 energy star rebate from the power company.

    Great Fridge For Limited Spaces

Because we have a very limited space (i.e. 33 inches width), we were limited in our choices since most refrigerators come in at over 35 inches wide nowadays. We had to look for something that would fit and yet have all the features we wanted such as stainless steel, french doors, bottom freezer and external water and ice dispensers. Enter our new LG refrigerator! Almost a month into it and we still absolutely love it. It looks slick on the outside and surprisingly spacious inside despite being only less than 33 inches wide. It's quiet and we just love the outside access to both ice and water. The door in door feature is a plus (something we've never even knew existed before) and the bright LED lights inside is much appreciated. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.

I was concerned about the storage room in this 33" wide refrigerator. I originally bought the 36" wide model but although it fit in the opening, the doors could not open fully. I am using turntables (purchased separately) on a couple of the shelves to accommodate small items. I like the door in door feature to get to items that I use frequently. The pull out deli drawer is roomy as is the freezer.

I was working with a specific amount of space, but I love my new fridge. Love the features especially the door in door. Also like the fact that you can electronically set the Temps for the freezer and cooler. A major benefit for me is that it chimes when accidentally left open!
