Why didn't I get this sooner

The only thing I can say is Why didn't I get this sooner! What a great dishwasher. I love the app. I never have to worry about adding the Jet Dry because it tells me when it's low. We average 3 loads a day. And it is top-notch! I love the night dry feature and the downloadable program for my large pots and pans. And I have to say this dishwasher can handle the large Chili Stockpot no problem at all. Everything comes out so clean AND DRY! I simply could not be any happier. I was a bit reluctant to get it because of some of the reviews but I am so happy I didn't pay attention to them. If I could give it a 10-star rating I would! Installed by BestBuy. A great option, The gentleman was very professional, very knowledgable, and took his time to make sure there were no leaks, and trained us how to use it. It is so quiet! I often check the app to see if it is running it is so quiet. I have to admit, I peek sometimes too. And yep running like a superstar. I love my LG! Thank you LG and BestBuy. Love the tub light, the adj rack, the TrueSteam, the App, the features.

We are satisfied with this dishwasher but see some room for improvement. It looks very nice in our kitchen as we gradually upgrade our existing appliances. It is also extremely quiet. It has plenty of room for our dishes and enough racks and slots to organize and space them out effectively. It takes much longer to complete a cycle compared to our older and less efficient dishwasher but this seems to be the norm now and we learned to adjust our dishwashing habits to account for the longer run time. Our biggest concern has been that it doesn't clean our dishes as thoroughly as we first expected, especially given the more effective spacing racks/slots and the longer run time. We now feel the need to pre-rinse/pre-wash our dishes before loading them, especially the dirtier ones. We were able to adjust our dishwashing habits to compensate but definitely didn't expect to have to do this.

Very quiet compared to the old dishwasher we replaced. Dishes come out looking amazingly clean. We really love the third utensil rack and how customizable everything is. You can put rack tines down, raise and lower the top rack to fit various size dishes etc. Inside led lighting is a nice touch also!

Pretty happy with this expensive dishwasher. The good - it looks nice, is barely audible, and love the third rack. Bad- cleans pretty well, but will leave crud in spoons often if there is a bit of peanut butter or the like, also, most annoyingly, the middle tines in the middle rack unintentionally flip down when you have bowls loaded and then everything falls around. We've put zip ties around then which helps but doesn't fix. Funny, never thought I'd need zip ties in a thousand dollar six month old dishwasher.

Shortly after moving into a new home the dishwasher went out. After lots of research and studying reviews I decided on the LG. This is a pricey dishwasher to be sure, however I'm hopeful that time will prove the price well spent.
First off the dishwasher offers a multitude of shelving options to arrange the load as needed. The stainless steel tum with built in LED lighting makes loading easier to see. The third shelf on top allows for those long spoons or knives to lay on edge for easy cleaning.
Operationally this is the quietest dishwasher I have ever experienced. It is virtually soundless and in order to tell its running you have to look at the display. Cleaning effectiveness is outstanding even when stuffed to capacity. Dishes come out clean and dry.
The only negative (if one wants to be really pickey) is the light will go off while loading which makes it a little harder to arrange dirty dishes. I can live with that.

Replacement for GE Profile purchase. I have nothing but praise for this machine. My wife was not happy with the cleaning until after a couple months. We had to get used to the fact there are water jets on the door and we should not block them. Cleaning is on par with our old Bosch. But that is not the praiseworthy feature, adjustability is. Afetr 7 months, the adjustments seem durable too.
The racks are TOTALLY adjustable. Dish holders can be set up for single (regular) dish loading, every other holder for thicker dishes, or laying flat. And this feature is in four zones on the lower rack. The upper rack has four-zone (no every other like on the bottom) on the inside holders only which are divided also into four zones. The upper rack is up/down adjustable. The upper utensil rack is up/down adjustable. You can fill this baby UP, including most pots and pans.

It may be a bit early to give the final word, as we've only had the dishwasher for a few weeks. I did a lot of research before choosing this model. Originally was interested in a Bosch, but those have been unavailable for ages and they still have not worked out supply chain issues. Considered many brands, and saw a YouTube review of reliability (my first priority) from a major Boston Area based appliance store(s) who keep data on appliance reliability for their customers. Turns out LG dishwashers have been the most reliable for their customers in the past year, despite info I'd seen elsewhere. I even called them, and one of their service schedulers said it's true, she'd recommend the LG over the Bosch or other brands for reliability right now. Love some features: the interior light, it's quiet (of major importance to us), and looks great. I was dubious about the wifi capability, but it is convenient. Dishes come out very clean. There is some water left in some areas of mug bottoms. etc, but this has been true for every dishwasher I've ever used. I expect this, doesn't bother us, and we don't use the extra dry feature (I think criticizing a dishwasher for not drying entirely is a bit nutty). The rack design is okay... they give detailed rec's on best loading, but still figuring out the best ways. Some brands might have better rack design (Kitchen Aid?). Racks don't feel as sturdy as dishwashers from 30 years ago, but I checked out other brands in the store, and they all are not as sturdy as days past. So maybe this is just how things are these days. So far so good.

My previous dishwasher was good, but it did not dry dishes well. This dishwasher cleans and dries dishes well quietly. It has a clean appearance without lights or buttons on the front panel and controls are nicely hidden on the top of the door when closed. It can send a messages to your mobile devices letting you know to add drying aid or how much time it will be before the load of dishes are complete.

I purchased the LG dishwasher to replace a failing dishwasher from another manufacturer. My wife and I couldn't be happier with this dishwasher. It's easy to load and offers a number of instantly adjustable arms to accommodate different items not loaded in the dishwasher daily. Things go in very dirty and come out completely clean, seemly much cleaner than our prior product.
It's very quiet so much so that at times in the run cycle you can't even tell it's running except for a small LED light on the front panel.
Some people have indicated items don't fully dry but we've never had this problem. One possible tip is don't forget the rinse aid. Don't know the science behind it but the rinse aid seems to help with the drying.
We love this dishwasher and would definitely but it again...

I like all the settings, and it does a much better job than any dishwasher I've ever had for taking out all the crusty food bits everywhere. The 3rd tray is great for fragile wooden spoons that I have, as it doesn't tarnish the wood. The utensil holder is great and allows ease of use, and chopsticks don't fall through the bottom like other dishwashers. Adjustable 2nd rack. Quiet, but I wish it were just a tiny bit quieter. I'm sensitive to noise, but this still beats all dishwasher's I've ever had, except the previous LG one. But it makes up for it for cleaning. It's hard to combine both because faster nozzle spray creates more noise, so there is some tradeoff, but I've had a GE dishwasher and it was noisier AND lower didn't clean as well.

This dishwasher is sleek and modern, has every option you could want in this appliance. I had to physically look at the mini lights on the door to tell if it was actually working because it is soooo quiet. I wasn't used to that. Love the third shelf for silverware, the adjustable shelf for oversized items and best of all, holders for stemware so I don't have to wash by hand. Although it is the same size as my previous dishwasher, this one seems to hold so much more due to the design of the racks. Also, this one has lights inside so I can see inside when loading or unloading it. I have not yet used the steam option, but Thanksgiving is coming and I am sure I will try it then! Happy, Happy, Happy.

Don’t buy open box unless you know how to inspect a dishwasher and its attachments/parts.
I purchased this item as open box/excellent condition.
When I picked up at the store, they went over the unit and it was packaged up and ready to be loaded in the truck. When the Best Buy installers showed up they found out that wherever this unit came from they cut, most likely with scissors, the attachment that connects the dishwasher to the garbage disposal.
Luckily my local bestbuy had The dishwasher in stock, new, $150 more than I paid and I was able to swap same day. The manager took care of the exchange and I didn’t have to pay out of pocket due to the inconvenience.
Since the item has been installed it has worked phenomenally! The lights are great, it’s so quiet and it cleans everything perfectly!

This dishwasher is awesome! It cleans everything spotless. Our kitchen is right off the living room so we needed something quiet. You can’t even hear it running. It has a light it shines on the floor to let you know it’s on and signals when it’s done, otherwise you wouldn’t know!

Very attractive but be cautious, the ENCASING of the control panel can be scratched easily. AWESOME cleaning power but expect some wet dishes even at the hottest and over night setting. The very top rack is surprisingly useful for long utensils even small sauce containers and it is adjustable on one end. As with any dishwashers not latching the door all the way when wet or with dirty dishes will prevent any unpleasant odors.
Great ability to adjust space, pretty much all rack tines are adjustable, BUT the main rack leaves so much space in the center even with all of them erect, that only large pots and dishes can fit without falling. So, filling the dishwasher can be challenging at the times when you only use small dishes like bowls and salad plates. Some of the tines do not stay up or cannot be secured. Minor inconveniences aside, this dishwasher is well constructed, with lots of washing options, wifi capable, beautiful and hopefully will last problem free.

Had it for a few months. I do like the dishwasher! it's very quiet. I like the various cleaning options offered. it's spacious enough if/when I want to add pots and pans. I also like the "I didn't care about that, but glad it's there" features. Things like wine glass holders, adjustable trays, top rack flatware rack, adjustable dish holder pins to make racks more open. The little things always mean a lot.

We bought this dishwasher about 10 months ago. As many have said, it is very quiet, you can barely tell its running. The run cycles are rather long but it cleans well and has performed well...until two weeks ago. I noticed some water coming from the bottom of the door. I thought it might have been because someone opened the door prematurely so I just wiped it up and kind of blew it off. Several days and cycles later I noticed it again, but unfortunately this time (or several times) the water had leaked on the floor and I did not notice it until it was too late. The water sat on the floor for who-knows-how-long and saturated into the wood, thus warping several of the planks. What a bummer, its not like you can just sit there and watch your dishwasher to make sure its not leaking. I did some troubleshooting on-line, inspected the dishwasher, and its pretty clear that it is an inner seal liner problem on the door. Somehow water is getting through the seal on the door and dripping down below/between the dishwasher door and tub then on to our floor.
So I contacted LG, setup a service repair, took the day off work to be at home during the 12pm-5pm timeframe they gave me. The repair company did not show up, never called, I tried calling them, their answering service said "our systems are down, try again tomorrow", did that, same message.
I went back online to find the service company LG recommended; their reviews were horrible, 1-star average and I can see why. So I went back into my LG account to order another service repair; I am still waiting to hear from LG, no word from them yet.
But bottom line, this dishwasher should not be leaking from the door, its not even a year old for goodness sake! Very disappointing so I'm recommending you stay away from this dishwasher. When we bought it I relied on the reviews on Bestbuy.com which were mostly quite good. But do some additional research, search for "LG dishwasher inner door seal leak" and you will see what I'm talking about.
Based on other negative reviews here, my guess is LG will add a response to this review and say something like "we're very sorry you are having issues, please contact us on our Facebook page or call this number..." Well, I already tried that, too, and my dishwasher is still sitting in our kitchen inoperable.
For almost $1,000, a door leak in less than a year is ridiculous. If LG decides to make this right and either give me a full refund or a full replacement, I will update this review and let you all know. But until then, DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER.

We love this dishwasher! The 3 racks have plenty of adjustments with the middle rack dropping on either side for taller glasses. Top most rack for larger utensils and spatula or lids works well. Has top controls which give more options than we have tried during the last year. We have not bothered with linking it to the internet, can’t say how well that works. Interior light is a nice touch. The “turbo” mode cleans in just one hour! The only negative I have found is food on utensils sometimes remains after cleaning so we scrub them before putting them in the machine.

Super quiet. Lots of shelf adjustability. Cool interior LED lights. Cleans so well, no more need for a labrador pre-wash. Really does do a great job!
Only negative. Establish if your old washer is plug in or hard wired. We were never asked this question by the sales associate. Turns out our old unit was hard wired and the new one plugs in. Techs had to install an outlet to plug new on into. BestBuy charges $150 to put the outlet in. Highway robbery after paying over a grand for the DW.

LG true steam

This is my first LG dishwasher purchase. After speaking with Best Buy representative, I decided to purchase the LG with true steam since the Bosch dishwasher was unavailable due to covid. The true steam feature I thought would help me get the cleaning action of my Bosch. While it is a very quiet dishwasher, it does not clean as well as the replacement Bosch. The 3rd rack feature is nice but has it limitations. Make sure utensils placed there are not too heavily soiled because you will have to re-wash them. My experience with the steam feature has been good, but it does not completely clean off baked on soil as the salesperson has indicated. Very good DW for the price, but Bosch is still my favorite.
