Customers recognize the 65" Class C2 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2022) for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and excellent performance in gaming. Many appreciate the ease of use and lightweight design, although some users find the remote control challenging and have expressed concerns about the operating system. The high price point is also a factor for some potential buyers. While OLED technology is praised, potential burn-in remains a concern for a few customers.

Burn in...less than a year

Love the TV and all of the features. We dropped cable and love all of the LG channels. However, watching a certain cable news channel (background noise) with white boxes around the talking heads burned out the red in areas of the tv. Now the color is ruined in the dead center and a can still read the Fox News Alert letters when there is a red background... If you watch a lot of that type of tv, recommend something else.

Stopped Working after 2 Years

This TV was fantastic until it was not. I was excited for my first OLED and really splurged to get a nice one. Stopped working after only 2 years which is extremely disappointing for a $2000 TV. LG has no service options in my area (large city) so I'm left with a really expensive piece of decor.

At first i really liked this tv because it was (i thought) an upgrade from the 50 inch Samsung 4k tv I hace had for a few years but i am not crazy about it now. The pointer is very annoying. Ive noticed screen blur when scenes change from dark to light. It seems only good for watching movies. I shouldve gone for a regular Ultra4k tv not an OLED or at least not this one. If i had money to burn i probably still wouldnt buy it. My Hisense looks better than this one during the day AND at night. I might put this in the bedroom and bring my ild tv back in the main living room. Geek Squad installer disnt install the soundbar on the soundbsr mount correctly and the tv is crooked on the wall. This was an epic failure.

Avoid Unless You Love Wasting Money

Purchased this TV in January 2021. Had it installed in February. It is currently December 2022 and the OLED panel has already failed and is showing significant areas of dead pixels. Manufacturer warranty expired, and Best Buy won’t repair it on their protection plan, so I get to pay for the installation of an entirely new TV and possibly mount. Flabbergasted that a $2,000 TV starts dying after one and a half years.

Not Quite LG Quality
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I am currently on the second C2 panel after BestBuy graciously exchanged the first defective panel. Both panels exhibit the same defect - a red/pink area comprising roughly the left one-third of the screen. The second panel is better and more faint than the first, but still alters the true colors of lighter areas of the picture - typically light scenes like snow, sky, sand or even black&white movies. It is quite distracting and once conscious of it cannot be ignored. I tried all sorts of consumer-available settings including pixel wipes and a 4 hour burn in video on Youtube. I talked to LG tech support who said just exchange it. The lack of Quality Control at LG is a surprise and disappointment. This one is going back and the next TV will not be a LG C2. Too bad because the right two-thirds of the screen is nice. Overall Unsatisfactory.

Beware of Faulty Power Box – Won’t Last Long
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I purchased this LG OLED TV, expecting the high quality they promise, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The power box failed after less than two years of normal use. Apparently, this is a common issue with these TVs, and without an extended warranty, you’re out of luck.
For a product in this price range, the reliability is shockingly poor. If you’re considering buying this TV, make sure to purchase the extended warranty, or you’ll likely end up paying for expensive repairs or replacing it entirely. I expected much better durability from LG. Definitely not worth the hype.

Beautiful TV but failed after a couple months.

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The TV is amazing when it works. I’ve had the TV since September and a week ago the TV randomly no longer has any power. No power surges or outages. I have my PS5 and soundbar plugged into the same surge protector and they’re fine and still have power. Been on the phone with LG for 50 minutes trying to schedule a repair, now I have to wait 3-5 business days for them to locate a repair service in my area then wait again for them to contact me on a date when it can be repaired. Something this expensive shouldn’t fail after only a couple months. Best part is the warranty only covers manufacturers defects so this most likely won’t be covered under warranty. Buyer beware!

Product Failed

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Product failed after 24 months. Was a great product until 24 months in a white line appeared on the screen. 2 weeks later the TV doesn’t even turn on.
At a purchase price of $1,800, a 24 month life expectancy is unreasonable.

The tv was great for 5 months then it died! Had a vertical red line going down the right side. Repair man came out to replace screen but as he was talking to another repair man on phone he said to look in right corner. When he looked there was a tiny crack on the interior, you could barely see it or feel it. LG won’t repair or replace, we watched on weekends only for maybe 4 hrs total. Repair man said as it got heated it shut down, how can it get heated watching only for a few hours? So we are out almost $2000!!

DONNOT BUY! I have had this tv for only two years and it won’t stay on for more than a half hour. It constantly turns itself off, changes screen to a solid color, and will make a high pitch noise. Every time this happens I have to unplug the tv and turn back on to get it to work. Now I have to take it to a repair shop because LG will not help they only gave me numbers of certified repair shops.
