Very efficient dryer provided that you have a nice vent. I had to reverse the door which is easy to do.

dryer keeps breaking the drum seal and now tub has sliced into the rear metal panel, before that clothes would also get stuck between the drum and frame, probably worse dryer I have ever owned only lasted about 6 months
Hi Brian, thank you for taking the time to share what’s been happening with your LG Dryer. A drum seal breaking repeatedly, clothes getting caught, and the drum cutting into the rear panel are all serious issues — especially on a dryer that’s only been in use for about six months. Your description gives a very clear picture of the mechanical stress you’ve been dealing with, and it’s absolutely understandable to feel frustrated. Good dryer. Still figuring out and getting used to digital settings.

It works well, but the specs are weak. There is no way to adjust the volume for the alarm ring at the end of a dryer cycle, nor is there a way to tell how much longer the cycle will run for. It is also limited, in terms of app features.

The dryer does not completely dry the close even when you put it on high. You have to put them in for a second drying. Not at all impressed with this dryer

This electric dryer is not a good product. It doesn’t work like my Samsung or old Kenmore. It finally stopped working yesterday after only about 2 months.
I’m dealing with BB to get it fixed. I’m waiting on the phone here.
Hi, Tony. Thank you for reaching out and sharing what’s been happening with your LG Dryer (DLE6100W) model. We understand the importance of having a dryer that performs reliably, especially after only a couple of months of use. For a unit that suddenly stops working, one helpful step you can try—once you’re able—is a power reset. Unplug the dryer for about 60 seconds, then plug it back into a dedicated wall outlet to help clear any temporary electrical interruption. Also, checking the breaker to ensure it hasn’t partially tripped can help restore full power to the dryer. I owned an LG dryer that we used for years so I figured I’d stick with the same brand. This dryer is terrible, it stops while drying and does not dry fast. I feel like it doesn’t heat up as much as my previous dryer. The sensor drying is useless
Hi, Maria. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us regarding your LG Dryer (DLE6100W) model. We understand your concern about your dryer to perform efficiently. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations. For better drying results, we recommend ensuring the lint filter and exhaust duct are clean, as blockages can affect heating and sensor performance. Additionally, selecting a timed dry cycle instead of sensor dry may provide a more consistent drying experience. For more information, you may visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-why-is-my-dryer-not-heating-not-drying-or-taking-a-long-time-drying--1432223739634.
