We are three months into using this product, and so far we love it! The app, which I thought was going to just connect the device to WiFi, actually offers A LOT of great features! Along with my washer, these smart washer/dryer units have to be favorite appliances in our house right now.

I like the product. I am still learning about some of its cycles, including how to do "touch up" drying when the machine shuts off and some of my clothes are still damp.

I truly wish I could give a negative rating. This is the worst dryer I have ever owned.
From day one, the dryer constantly shows a d95 warning and shuts down after just two minutes of running. LG keeps insisting that the issue is a duct blockage. However, I already had the duct professionally cleaned. I uploaded the cleaning receipt, along with photos of the duct and exterior vent, directly to the support ticket.
Despite providing all documentation and even sharing the ticket number every time I contact them, each new agent asks for the exact same information again and again. No one seems to review the case history. It feels like starting over every single time.
One assigned dryer agent (Ryan) sends only one short message per day and has been completely uncooperative and unhelpful. There is no real troubleshooting support — just repeated statements that it’s a duct issue.
When I opened the warranty ticket, I was clearly told that a technician would come out within 7 days. It has now been 16 days, and no one has even called to schedule a visit.
I have called LG three separate times over the past three days. Each time, I was told I would receive a callback the same day. No one has called back. Not once.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. A one-year warranty means nothing if the company refuses to properly diagnose the issue or send a technician. At this point, the warranty feels like a scam.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I will not be purchasing LG products again, and I cannot recommend LG to anyone based on this experience.
Hi, Tanzila. Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed account of your experience with your LG Dryer (DLE8200L) model. We understand the importance of having a dryer that performs reliably and a support process that feels consistent and attentive. For the d95 alert, one helpful step is to run the Flow Sense test built into the dryer. To do this, start the unit on a Timed Dry cycle with no clothes inside, then let it run for several minutes. If the alert appears again, this helps confirm whether the restriction is internal to the dryer rather than the ducting. We’d like to take a closer look at your case history and ensure your details are reviewed thoroughly. Please send us an email at [email protected]. We're here for you. ^Juvy
