To really dry I make sure to select high, toned dry otherwise, Some settings leave clothes just shy of dry. This is good for delicates, or linens that I may want to iron

So far there have been no problems whatsoever, they are full-size set, and I would recommend them for anyone.

Good pricing from Best Buy on a highly rated appliance. My 17 year old Kenmore went on strike, so I bought both the washer and this matching dryer. Very pleased with the look and performance of both!

No more spending hours drying clothes multiple times like apartment dryers. Free Professional installation by Best Buy. This is a great product! I am happy with this purchase!

It complements my LG washer well. I wish it can last as long as my previous LG washer/dryer as those have been going for 15+ years. Doing laundry is tolerable now with my new appliances.

However, it recently started making a loud banging noise with every turn of the drum (as if there was a heavy shoe in the dryer). After consulting the internet, I opened it up and found that the drum had started to split along the welded seam (picture attached). The owner's manual states that the drum is under a parts warranty for 10 years. OK, called LG and asked for a new drum. However... they will not send a part directly to me. They can only send it to an authorized repair technician. Long story short, it will cost a minimum of $289 for diagnosis/repair of the drum (that I can already see is defective and can replace myself). After 9 days and several rounds of calls to LG (for a combined 2 hours, 20 minutes and counting), I have not been able to speak to anyone who can authorize either sending the part to me or covering the cost of the diagnosis/repair, even though it is clearly a defective part. Extremely frustrating to be spending this much time and energy on the problem, and still have no working dryer, during the holiday season.

Knock on wood - it is no secret that appliances seem to fail with too much regularity - so I don’t want to jinx myself (as the fridge beeps in the kitchen).

Not too complicated but has plenty of choices for dry level, temp, wrinkle care, and length of time drying as well as number of choices for what goes into dryer.
