The sound is very minimal from these air conditioners, WAY better than my last ones. The app is easy to set up and use and it’s nice to be able to control them when I am not home. They also look very sleek.

Honestly the build quality is good, the sound isnt overwhelming and it cools a 14×14 bedroom very very well. Plus, it is very simplistic to install!

I received a damaged unit. The box was damaged and not sealed. The AC housing was dented and warped. The Best Buy Total Tech installers took photos and said they would report the issue, but installed it in the meantime. I want to return this damaged unit and receive a replacement, but am having difficulty arranging this service with Best Buy.

I received the product and the box is very damaged. It's like used. The lock on the air vent was damaged. The ac is very heavy and I am on the 3rd floor. Unable to carry it alone to be able to change

Very quiet and sleep mode works well. It cools very fast. On lower speeds and sleep mode it is far more quiet than any window AC I've ever heard and I can easily sleep with it.

Cannot believe how quiet this is -- on #1 or #2 fan settings you can barely hear it six ft away. First AC you can leave on while you sleep. AND supposed to be 30-40% more efficient. Only drawback is weight, about 63 lbs, but held OK in the window. I did put a rack under the unit to make sure it didn't fall during installation. Great shipping too!

I only had this AC for 2 months and so far, so good. It's easily the quietest AC I ever owned. It also has some nice features such as, sleep mode which, gradually rise the temp by 2 degrees ever 1/2 hour. This is good so you won't get too cold a night. There's a normal timer as well. Another nice feature is you can shut off all the AC lights (i.e, temp. fan speed, mode and etc.) keeping the room dark.

Easy to install, the remote is easy to use and works well even outside of the lanai where the AC is installed (about 60’ from the unit). It keeps the lanai comfortable enough to enjoy even during the heat of the day. At about $100 more than a lot of other brands that are 8000 BTU, I’m still undecided if it’s a good value. If it lasts a few years and it is as energy efficient as they claim then I’ll consider it a good value. The last one we had from another well known brand only lasted a year and it wasn’t exactly a high performer.

I didn't really understand what I was missing until getting an AC unit with remote and WiFi/Alexa capabilities. What an upgrade ;>) And it is as quiet and efficient as previous reviewers have noted. Also, the LG app is very easy and straightforward.

What a great A/C unit…..sooooo quiet . Even on the highest setting. Not to mention supper efficient. We are going to keep this on 24/7 for the summer to cool the whole upstairs!!! But you do pay more for this!!!

The LG - 340 Sq. Ft. 8,000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner was an excellent. It it easy to operate and is extremely quiet. The only problem is that I cannot get the Wi-Fi to connect after numerous attempts.

Bought 2 of these window units. They run very quiet and have cooled the house off nice. We are happy with them.

As advertised, this unit is amazingly quiet. It keeps the entire room very cool. So far it's overcoming the high heat and humidity we've been having. Very happy with the purchase!

This is a wonderful, quiet air conditioner. My only issue has to do with the Energy Saver setting. With my old, noisy LG when the room temperature went 2 degrees above the set temperature, it would start up again. With this LG, the room temperature has to raise 4 degrees above the set temperature before it turns on again so it can get quite warm in my apartment before the cooling temperatures return. If this large swing in temperature is the price for a quiet air conditioner I’ll gladly put up with it but it does take some getting used to.

This is one of the best ACs I’ve ever owned. So quiet, effective and cold.
