Love my DVD burner. Works great with my new iMac too. I didn’t buy the Apple burner because it didn’t have good reviews. This burner was half the price and works awesome.

Great drive for the money. Good for backups & data transfers between computers. Also, a nice portable drive for on the go use. Fast, quiet & inexpensive.

The price is good. The set-up was easy. The product was ready to go out of the box. No need to install any type of program to make it work on my Mac. It is easily interchangeable between all my Macs.

My DVD drive broke on my computer and it was going to be really expensive to replace. I found this one and reviews were decent. It was easy to get hooked up and started using right away!

So far, decent but the proof is in time, will it hold up? It's a little flimsy but I've been able to play and burn CDs. Haven't tried the DVD burning yet and if any problems I'll circle back to this review. The price was right though. In all, I can't understand why laptops stopped offering the use of CD/DVD playing and burning and now with Apple, no more USB port ... pretty lame!

Very Mac friendly look and easy to use and connect. Slot load instead of a tray loading feature. Price is great! Would recommend this for any mobile user or laptop home use!

Decent product. I had some difficulty with the software running the machine but just uninstalled and reinstalled & whatever glitch happened fixed itself. For some reason to i can't get it to burn disks. It reads & i can transfer from disk to my laptop but i can't burn anything from my laptop.

My new laptop didn't have a disc drive so I added this external drive. I do a lot of video processing and this one works very well for my needs. Good price for a good product.

The box said it worked with Mac. However I did have to buy an adapter as Mac does not accept USB-A. Once connected the product has worked as advertised and was easy to use.

the LG SuperMulti Blade Ultra Slim Portable DVD WRITER, Model AP70NS50, does exactly what it is supposed to do. it burns extremely well and it is a very quiet unit when burning. there are a couple secs of noise when the loading mechanism loads and unloads the DVD, but I can't hear it in the adjacent room. I bought this unit because it is a slot-load device, and I am lazy. DVD's pop out when done. however, do not stack them (I have 4), they can get warm when stacked, and some of the internal lubrication can get on the recorded surface of the DVD. I have had 2 of them for a year and 2 for about 3 months. all running. no problems. planning to buy 2 more when they go on sale.

I bought this with one of the newer laptops that doesn't have a built-in drive. It works really well and allows me to use disc-based programs. Worth it.

Since my Surface Book does not have a DVD drive I selected this model because of its light weight and sleek design. Installation was no problem and I am very satisfied with the drive.

Good price works. We don't use a DVD player often and didn't need to spend a lot of money. It just needs to be available when we need it. Price was good and it does its job

I have a Hewlett-Packard laptop and as soon as I connected this External USB drive, all I had to do was insert the disc that came with it. BTW, you have to be able to view your drive. I have Windows 11, and as soon as I click on it, my computer recognized it. Also the disc contained some very helpful free items, if you're interested. This definitely was worth the money I paid.

I had to replace my old lg drive bc it would mess up recording so i looked at this one in the store I notice it looks just like a Mac drive which is great bc I have a Mac it's quite and thin.

Bought this drive for my macbook. The price was great and it was pretty much plug in and play. It is clearly lightweight, so I wouldn't recommend letting it get dropped or knocked around, but it serves my purposes well.
