I use this on all of my computers. It is faster than the one in my desk top. I would reccomend this to any one that want a reliable low cost player/writer

This was a Christmas gift & I love it. I needed something so I could download my new CD's to my Mac. This device did the trick. It's very easy to use & it's quick.

After reading so many horrible reviews on the Apple Super Drive, I decided to save some money and give this LG a try. I'm using it with a MacBook Pro 13 with retina display. So far I am pleased with this drive. I gave it 4 stars, because I can't, fairly, rate it higher or lower, at this time.

performs as advertised, have no OS compatibility issues. Performs very fast and able to read all formats. will buy at Best Buy always.

My old external dvd drive died. My old long one was cumbersome to carry around and noisy. This one is quiet and very portable.

I really like, it is small, easy to use, works well with the Mac. I have been loading CD's every day for a month to my Mac for my iTunes.

Experienced no problem along they way. Easy online search right down to the store location. Works great with my HP. Plugged it in...computer did it's "thinking" thing and *poof* it was running. I had a lot of old CD & DVD I was trying to cleanup and it had no issues reading the data. Very pleased with the performance.

LG was the first to break $100 dual layer drive with outstanding performance, with an awesome MTBF research rating. The case is nice, but after the aesthetics, the internal slide mechanism feels and feeds like a cheap plastic mechanism, which it is. Once spun up, however, the specs beats Apple's at its own branded drive, needed for the newer MBook and MBook Pro which is what I needed for a lightweight and reliable external drive. Best Buy came in with some excellent pricing, and beat out Apple both in price and performance.

As easy as 1.2.3, simple as can be, burns a full cd in 5 minutes, awesome(B.B.) price.

Solid performance out of the box with iMAC. Very good price at Best Buy. Looks are compatible with Apple products.

It really does plug and play in WIN 11. It records and plays CDs and DVDs. If it also did Blu-ray disks it would be perfect. For the price you can't have everything. Very lightweight and portable if that is important to you. It is so lightweight that putting a disk may move the Drive.

I can say this is by far the best cd/dvd drive you can buy. It works for apple products and Windows products. This is my second one because the first one broke because of my father-in-law. He drop it. This will last a long time. Its great for its value.

used it only once...just connected it to my macbook and burnt the files i wanted. quick, easy, lite. I cant give 5 stars yet unless i use it for a while and confirm durability.

This is very compact and easy to load. Has a easy release of CD's and works well with my computor

Serves its purpose well without extra bulk - great choice for home mac mini setup or to travel with ipad or tablet - nice and light!

This is a very good DVD player, it is very fast and reliable. I would recommend this DVD player for any PC.
