Good product. Light weight and thin. Very quiet. Comes with software.

This is a great little DVD player in that it worked right out of the box - no setup required. Some of the controls weren't intuitive, but the manual gave a good description of each button. One glaring ommission is the lack of a volume control on the remote. You have to go to the player and rotate a little dial. Battery life is more than adequate for my use. My biggest disappointment is that it wouldn't play my MP4s or DVM file videos. I have to convert them to an audio DVD disk first and it is time consuming.

Bought this to backup some old DVD’s for my laptop with no dvd drive. Set up was simple, runs quietly and quickly.

It really does plug and play in WIN 11. It records and plays CDs and DVDs. If it also did Blu-ray disks it would be perfect. For the price you can't have everything. Very lightweight and portable if that is important to you. It is so lightweight that putting a disk may move the Drive.

Fast and accurate. Have not lost a disc yet. Good overall design.

Would recommend to anyone due to ease of use and quality. Compact and light weightworks on any computer.

It performs exactly as intended. I am happy with it. It looks attractive on my desk, blending well with my silver Apple products, which I like. I’m not at all pleased that I had to purchase it to replace the exact item which failed on me after only about a year and a half of limited use. I needed to replace the failed one in order to do my taxes. I hope this one lasts longer!

It's small and compact. Worked right out of the box. I use it often and have had 0 issues so far.

I can say this is by far the best cd/dvd drive you can buy. It works for apple products and Windows products. This is my second one because the first one broke because of my father-in-law. He drop it. This will last a long time. Its great for its value.

I was surprised at how quiet this drive is. You barely hear it. It's also perfect for me to take on the road, powered by USB and a slot load to boot. Great little unit.

My computer's DVD drive had stopped working a couple years ago and I was too lazy and too cheap to have it fixed or a new one installed. When I noticed this DVD writer on sale recently I was curious if this would be a good and inexpensive fix. Despite a few of the reviews mentioning trouble I decided to buy it and am happy to report that it worked right out of the box for me. I have an older all in one HP with a touch screen running Windows 10. I'm very satisfied with this product!

I'm using this as a CD/DVD drive with my Surface Book. It works great with it. I like how the silver color matches it. I like that it is slot loading which is more "premium". The USB cable is the ideal length, and I like how it is bus powered. I appreciate LG's build quality as well. It is plastic instead of aluminum, but it's still very solid. It works great with Windows 10 and VLC Player without issues.

This item is lightweight and easy yo use. Worked with my Microsoft Surface as an external Drive.

Just plug it in and it installs. Worked like a charm. Used to install turbotax and backup photos from trip. Highly recommended.
