Great product and easy to use. Very sleak design - looks like my MacBook pro

So far, I have nothing negative to say about this drive. For being a USB extension drive, it copies and installs quickly. I was able to get the drive on sale, which really helped justify the purchase. Since most new laptops are not being made with an internal disk reader, I am very happy with using this drive when I need to install a disk based program.

This LG DVD player is an awawesome product. Very fast and easy to use.

I returned this item cause it needed a USB 2 Y. No one could help me find this wire. It needed more power. I couldn't get it started or get it open to install the tutorial. Maybe on another computer it will work fine. I have a new mac, even tho it says that it is compatible with macs. Bought a USB apple super drive and love it No problems. I cannot recommend this product yes or No. cause I didn't use it.

I had problems getting this running. Also the previous cheaper DVD drive - I returned thinking it was defective Both came with software that would not run anything. Windows media player would also not work with it. The Geek Squad was great though in helping me find software to run this - but it was very strange that the other software would not run it. Very troubling for someone that expects to have this work without issue.

This is small and easy to use. It easily fits into the computer bag and adds very little weight.

I bought this drive to save the DVD drive on my laptop and because the price was right. I duplicate a great number of audio presentations for a local non-profit and make heavy use of CD/DVD burners. This does the job as well as any and takes up very little space on my desk. I make such heavy use of burners that I replace each one once a year. This is only a precaution.

my old iMac started to die the first of the year...and I replaced it with the new iMac.. The bad news was that the new didn't not have a CD/DVD slot. Recommended in other reviews was the Samsung Super Drive. It was just ok. I am very pleased with the LG Super Drive that I purchased. Have not had 1 problem with it. Works like a pro.

I liked this unit so much that I bought a second! The deal is that I have some German DVD's (region 2 only) that I wanted to watch using my Mac Mini. This drive locks in the region code after five viewings. Since the drive is cheap enough, I bought a second drive in case I ever decide to watch a U.S. (region 1) movie. I wish Blu-ray drives were that easy. But they aren't. Sigh. Anyhow, it's a nice match for the Mac Mini.

The LG is an ideal CD burner! It is incredibly easy to copy music and other data using this device. I have used it several times since purchase, and I am very pleased! The price was right and it fits nicely in my bag for travel. I would purchase this again.

Picked this up a few months ago and had it price matched to Fry's and ended up getting it for a steal of a price. It does more than the Apple branded and at a cheaper price. Just wish it played blurays.
